So I was wandering around getting my house violated by Creepers as usual.
I decided to have a little fun and venture out to our NPC Village.
After getting lost, I discovered a desert. Unbeknownst to me, I was being followed by a Creeper through the desert. About halfway through, I found a spider surface dungeon completely enclosed in sand. I was warned of the Creeper's presence by it getting damaged on a cactus. It escaped and shortly after I was blown up.
I lost a grand total of
1 Iron Sword
1 Iron Chestplate
1 Iron Leggings
Not a big deal, but my caves are more polluted with coal than iron.
The Oracle Tower is setting up at 1 Portals, Ravenshire, and another tower to be erected just outside of the walls. To complete this task I will need approximately 5000-10000 cobblestone. If anyone can provide me with this (donations from rival AI especially appreciated) there are chests inside the tower in which cobble can be placed. I might be able to cover the cost of the stone if there is any.
Is there some way to texture stuff that I haven't figured out yet? Trying to make a TF2 weapon at the current. Not sure if I can do it properly with Blender but the recommended software is shizzle when it comes to saving the files.
Living on Long Island, I'm expected to get the worst of Irene when it passes over on Sunday.
If I don't provide you with an update within a week or so you're safe to assume that my house was destroyed.
New texture pack I made. It has some mobs, most of the terrain, most items, and all (chain included) armor.
Unfortunately, I didn't get very good pictures of stuff, so here's terrain.png.
We're building a village at the spawn. I've set up shop there along with a few others.
I'd like to see what we name that little town, and if I can somehow move my stock to Ravenshire.
Ah well, we can just have fun with naming the place and waiting for another delivery of items to Ravenshire.
So, this is my new zeppelin in the form of a house.
I will be flying it around aimlessly until 1.8 is released, at which point I will dock at an NPC village and stay there.
Well, here's some pictures and documentation of the journey.
This house was finished by dawn of day 10. It took three zeppelins, two boats, and one elevator to get to this location. The finishing of the house marks the first day of travel.
I flew around alone for five days (nothing very exciting happened except for my porch being left behind and me needing to make a new one) before finally reaching this random overhang.
I landed the house on a strange overhang and took this picture. It would be another three days until I journey with a companion.
First off, I do realize that this isn't very.... daily. But, nothing really happens in between these, but I do hope I'll be able to give you some looks at the interior, etc.
The dog's name is officially Wolfie.
I docked on a tree to get him, and when I took off again, I had a tree attached to my house.
I flew out under the house to discover that it wasn't just one tree, but a forest that I picked up!
I managed to clear them all before nighttime.
The images glitched out and didn't upload. Now the tab is malfunctioning and I might not have any images at all.
Anyways, Wolfie couldn't sleep that night, so I stayed up with him. We traveled onward quite a bit until we reached a quite large desert the next day.
We crossed the desert without a problem. There will be no images at all for these next few parts.
Anyways, in just the one day, we crossed the desert, and reached a large savanna. Beyond it is a large tundra. I fear that if we don't turn back now, we might never find civilization.
Wolfie is getting tired, so I gave him my bed to sleep in. As we cross the tundra tonight, I'm beginning to wonder if it was a good idea.
We're still on the tundra. It's getting cold out here, and I should probably just lock Wolfie inside and install a door again.
The Oracle Project suit isn't as insulated as I would have liked it to be, and we ran out of fuel for the furnaces, so I had to go get some more.
Punching trees in the tundra isn't very effective. I only managed to get enough fuel to keep the house heated for another day. I hope we're out of the tundra by then.
The furnaces run out of fuel tonight.
Unfortunately, just as I was preparing to take off, we got a blizzard.
Guess I'll be in the tundra a little while longer.
Good news is:
I installed a door to the house. Now Wolfie will be locked inside till we leave the tundra, but he doesn't seem to mind.
Fuel's out, but luckily we got out of the tundra fast.
We passed lots of amazing scenery.
And I made a map.
I'm following the map to... somewhere.
We made it to the edge of the map. I doubt it's the real edge of the map, though. Regardless, we're en route to the Far Lands.
Even your Error 500s are amusing.
500 Internal Server Error
Sorry, something went wrong.
A team of highly trained monkeys has been dispatched to deal with this situation.
If you see them, show them this information:
I never wanted you to become President, but nobody deserves to be ravaged by Irene. You're quite screwed now. You would have been safer at Martha's Vineyard, when Irene would have only been a weak Category 1 or just a tropical storm. But, you chose to go back to D.C. Good luck then.
So I found the Zeppelin mod, built a house in the sky, and I've been flying it around for about ten minutes looking for a place to stop, drop, build a ship, and build an elevator to get up to my house.
Here's a picture of my house:
There's a bed right up at the stern near the exit, and in the middle is a small observation deck with a small observation bridge on it.
Also at the port is... what is it?
Oh yeh, it's a little room where the pilot sits, but that's not important right now.
I'll update you when I find a place to dock.
Oh, and I'm using TMI in conjunction with this.
