What's going on guys, Kamil here, coming at you with another blog post!!
sooooooooo i've finished uni for another year, still not sure if i've passed or failed everything but who cares summer's here right???
i managed to land a job after a few months of searching, it's nothing special but it pays and i get great hours so I'm happy with it, plus all my coworkers are pretty cool and chill to work with so I enjoy it
following on from that, i've started thinking about maybe moving out to
So today we got our ATAR scores, which is basically a number that ranks you in the entire state and is a determiner for what courses you can study at Uni (e.g. 60 ATAR means you did better than 40% of the state or thereabouts). Needless to say it's given huge importance (although in the grand scheme of life is pretty irrelevant) and I was incredibly nervous when I heard the text message come in. Anyway, turns out I did much better than anticipated and should be able to get into my desired course
So Thursday I finished my last exam, and with it finished my schooling. During the last 10 minutes of the exam I couldn't help but smile at the thought of moving on... It's not that I dislike highschool, I've had a great experience all the way to the end but I feel like I've had enough. Results come out December 15th and Uni offers shortly afterwards, so a nervous wait 'till then. Year 12 has been a great experience for me though, I'm lucky in that my teachers have all been immensely devoted to

Anyway, still needs a lot of work but at least it's legible :3 I decided to try and improve my handwriting over the weekend so I chose Helvetica Light and went to town. The notes on the left are from before, notes on the right are after.
Anyone else tried doing this? If so, any tips?
Well I decided to start watching Lost as it has received very high praise, and that praise is more than warranted. I'm only on the first season but damn this show is turning out really awesome. I didn't expect it to be so eerie though, it's quite scary in places D: No spoilers, please.
Also those numbers, those fudgeing numbers creep me the hell out.
I can definitely see why people love this show. Lots of nudity + gore + great story + great actors/costumes = AWESOME.
Tbh I didn't think there would be as much gore and nudity as there would be (y'know, since it's an American show) but I welcome it nonetheless :D
Only a few episodes into the first season so no spoilers please.
:)
Awesome campaign, cool ending, although a bit disappointed that I didn't get a huge stash of Eridian weapons :(
Also started the Underdome. DAT MOXXI
I bet you thought this was going to be about sex, huh? Well, close enough. It's about my first time installing a Linux distro, which I achieved yesterday after a few hours of mucking around. Let's begin:
So, yesterday I was sitting around bored when I decided "fudge it i wanna see what all the linux hype is". And so, after researching a few distro's I decided on Linux Mint 12 (LM12). I downloaded the .iso and because I couldn't be stuffed burning to a CD I decided to use a USB. I downloaded
That if you press the Windows Key + A number, it will open up that corresponding program on the task bar? So for me, WinKey + 1 would open up Chrome, WinKey + 2 would open up Windows Explorer, etc. etc.
I found this out just then LOL. Seems pretty nifty.
