Yeah Halloween but probably settled with being my all-around clothing.
Though I do like having skeleton clothes with the bone brooch, I entertain myself. :P A real pity the brooch can't be actually worn and then activated for its effect, like all the other holiday rewards.

I had to go to an overnighter this weekend and as I was carrying the last of our belongings back to my truck, I turned to tell my mom to stop her yakking. Literally just as I turned around, I get hit in the eye, dead center, with a black walnut that my scoutmaster had thrown while I was walking away. >.<
Red eye and marks all in close-up glory.
Listen to the following only if you wish to never have a peaceful moment in your brain or wish to override another catchy song.
Both sung by Laura Shigihara who did the music for Plants vs Zombies.
one but this is the clean version (Ain't that some SHH?). Other one's better IMO but has foul language. >.<
And no complaining, I told you it'd get stuck.
Just finished listening to the latest book in my top favorite series and it looked like the author had killed the protagonist off. D: Some quick searching reveals a soon-to-be sequel where the description shows him as living.
Scared the crap out of me. >.<
Finally got around to merging a bunch of mp3 files of a book I hadn't finished. Now it's on my phone and I can listen between classes. ^_^
I like the volume control on the iPhone's earbuds but they hurt my ears.
I've got a seemingly easy paper to write for American Literature that's due Friday night but I can't seem to dig up enough willpower to bother starting. It's like senioritis hit six months too late. :)
My brother's been a real prick lately. He got pissed at me last night because I didn't quit making a map in forge after he said he felt like doing some campaign even though it's my game and I never said I'd quit.
He does that all the time, pretty much assume something as his because I let him use it, laughs when I threaten to take it back, then say later that I never lend him anything. If it weren't for me, he wouldn't have the Ethernet cable I made and ran through the basement for his xbox (and also set up an old desktop for internet use after he spilled water pn his laptop) or lend him money to get Live (which he tried to claim he paid me back after because he didn't know if he had enough for taxes which is bull). I made him sign the receipt for when I lent him money for Red Dead. Continuing his signature behavior even more, I let him use my xbox controller charger after he cut his up to wire together with his phone charger despite me pointing towards a drawer full of random USB cables. His makeshift wire failed and the cable didn't work after putting it back together. And he leaves my cable on the ground, prone to being eaten by the recliner. Already got slots put in my other controller because he's irresponsible with anyone's things.
I'm sitting in the college parking lot on my phone and felt I needed to get a bit of a catalogue on his bullshizzle, read if you want.
So my grandpa and sister bought a house along some water, to be generic. When I went to take a look, they hadn't actually bought it yet so I don't know a thing about the inside but I do know it's a two story with the floor at grade level being entirely a garage space with the second floor as the living space. That being said, my mom's been leaving the DIY stuff on tv and I've been itching to either start work on the other house* or to work on our house's basement which has been waiting funding.
*We're relaxing the junky wood(?) walls on the bottom floor with cement/stone to keep water out so we need to build a temporary wall and work on a wall at a time. Or my brother and I just dig the trench for the wall and someone else builds the new wall. Who knows.
I want a goddamn project. :s
Not really sure what else to do. I've tried making my old idea of ship vs ship with firebombs but then to my dismay found they had discontinued firebombs so that map turned into some weird floating base vs base deal. Then I had to make the obligatory bumper cars map which turned out ok after I got the spawns working and had gotten the game options set. Then, I made what I called Gauntlet, a one-sided CTF game where Red sits atop two walls with Spartan lasers with Blue between them running flags from one end to the other. That one would have been better if we had had more people and they didn't swap teams without knowing what was going on. :D
Oh, and of course I had to make the typical "there's no way in hell you're getting in" fortress. Involves jetpacking in off the open field into the coliseum where players are faced with an array of mounted armaments and the only entrance is a tunnel you have to crouch to pass through which is victim to a stationary scorpian and friends. Falcon launch pads are also included in the interior. What I really need to do is include the jump-through-walls ghost trick because it's easy to seal off that way.
But you can see what kinds of map-making I'm into, eg: not the normal let's-play-slayer stuff, so any ideas would be welcome. I've got lots of time during the beginning of the week. :D
So I'm really considering canceling my Black Ops preorder in favor of getting Reach now. Because my reasoning before was that if I could only have one, it'd be Black Ops. Well, wouldn't you know it, I completely forgot about Christmas. :) A month after release isn't bad and I could always borrow my brother's BO that he's getting for his birthday.
I'm still looking/deciding, but where would I be able to go to cancel the preorder? It's charged to my debit card so I have access there. --My mom just asked "why cancel it?" so I've got permission to waste money. :)
Kind of confused with these iPhone apps. The preinstalled apps can do one thing but not another. Then the website itself can have an app which works better in filling previous apps shortcoming but then has another vital function missing so I need four apps when I only want two. I just can't win.
Pretty much standalone app vs mobile page in browser.
I had to wake up at six this morning to go to a troop member's Eagle project. He was building a new fire pit for a forest preserve which would seem simple enough but the pavers had a lip hanging off the inner side so the rings were forced to get smaller each new ring. Never occurred to anyone to make the bottom ring have gaps between pavers and have the top row touching normally. A few other things they missed but it looks pretty good.
You know what makes my day? When there's some goosedown on MW2 on your team and your buddies and you make it a game to get him killed. My personal favorite is to chase them shooting and trap them when they turn into a corner. They freak out and someone gets a doublekill.
I was just getting out of psychology, on my way to look for somewhere to sit for an hour and a half when I saw that the college had put up a 9/11 memorial video/documentary. It was pretty good, I watched most of it twice. It's a shame I was only ten and didn't really grasp it all at the time.
My mom actually said yes to letting me preorder Black Ops. Got myself the Hardened edition, those maps better be good. :P
Edit: Can you believe I didn't notice leaving this entry as saying "My actually..."? :D
Got hit only twice: once in the shoulder and once in the knuckle (ouch!). Of course I got hit by paintballs that didn't explode four times: twice in the head (one combed right through my hair), one on my wrist, and one friendly fire on my other shoulder. Flipside: three guys in the chest and one in the hand.
And the last game filled with friendly fire from a bunch of little kids who ended up nearly blinding me with paint spray.
On the left.
