Today at lunch someone thought it would be funny to write "All you nerds go to hell" on a gum wrapper and throw it at the group of people I was sitting with. After begging someone for a pencil, I wrote back "lol ur so funnee!!!" and at the bottom "Did I say it stupidly enough for you?"
I think I did pretty good considering I suck at comebacks.
I'm getting tired of people seeing something they can't do, and automatically assuming the person that did it has no life. Because no one is actually TALENTED at anything, they're just 40 year old me in their mom's basement with no social life.
I didn't have much time online yesterday, so here's what I did.
At school we kicked off Red Ribbon week with an assembly. Some rock band came, shared us the message of "Be yourself, drugs and alcohol are evil, etc. etc." they were okay, and it was a good way to kill a class period, although I think I've gone deaf. As we were leaving, I heard this conversation between two seventh graders.
"Here's my rock song" *holds up middle finger*
I hope the poor boy didn't actually think he was being funny or clever or anything.
After we got home, we went to a corn maze. The theme was David Archuleta, the maze was shaped like him and his song(s) were constantly blaring over the speakers.
When you go into a neighborhood to preach the Gospel, never attempt to tear down a man’s house, so to speak, before you build him a better one; never, in fact, attack any one’s religion, wherever you go. Be willing to let every man enjoy his own religion. It is his right to do that. If he does not accept your testimony with regard to the Gospel of Christ, that is his affair, and not yours. Do not spend your time in pulling down other sects and parties. We haven’t time to do that. It is never right to do that.
I wish more people were like that.
I don't know how long it's been since I went inactive, I don't know if anyone even noticed I went inactive, but I'm back. I'd been needing a break for a long time and one day I left Sal's never to come come back. I never planned on leaving, I could have, but then I realized I don't have a life and how boring the computer can be without this place.
I've got champagne, let's throw a party.
Today in history class we were having a very strange discussion. Enentually we got to the point where someone said "Girls are complicated" now of course a girl has to get offended by that, or the fabric of reality will unwind. The kid that said this isn't very bright, so the arguement he used was "Yeah they are, they go to the bathroom together" now to prevent reality from unwinding, this girl got offended and said "AT LEAST WE DONT PEA IN FRUNT OF EECH OTHR!"
This launched an entire classwide discussion on what people do in the bathrooms. I'm not going into detail.
See what I have to live through, feel sorry for me.
Well since Halo came out all everyone's been talking about is Halo3. Because I don't own an Xbox, I've never really played Halo. So please tell me why it's such a good game. I asked my friends but I got typical fan-boyish responses. "ITS TEH BEST GAME ON TEH PLANET" "U GET 2 KIL THINGS!!" and other unhelpful things.
plz tell me <_<
I went swimming today and while there some guy came up to me and the following conversation ensued.
Him: What grade are you in?
Him: Do you have a girlfriend?
And then he swam away.
I should note I have NO IDEA who this guy is, he looked vaguely familiar, but everyone does when they're wet.
Apparently there's a tradition at UVSC (That's Utah Valley State College) That you must go up to a random person and kiss them. Only then are you a "True Wolverine" Well surprisingly enough people actually do that.
In fact I read an article about it and this quote came out of it.
"We made out in a tree, and this old guy sat and watched us"
Honestly is good, I guess...
It even spawned a website (Made by the same person that wrote the article)
I just got a new song for piano and I'm practicing it more than I've ever practiced. I can only play well to about 40 seconds into the song, and it sounds okay to about 1:15, but that's a lot of progress considering it's me and I've only had it for a week.
I've been in a slump lately, but I think I'm getting better, hooray. :(
I recently found a wonderful term to describe myself: L'esprit d'escalier
I have just decided that I don't like it when people say "go play real guitar not dummy giutar hero noob." If people want to say that, then they should never play video games again.
Go join the REAL army, don't play Call of Duty.
Go kill some REAL aliens, don't play Halo.
Go get all of your REAL skills to level 99, don't play RuneScape.
