This weekend was awesome. I didn't end up going hiking yesterday because one of the guys couldn't go. I had a party last night with about twenty people who showed up. Only five ended up spending the night, but it was still epic. The only problem was that one of my friends woke up, sat up, then threw up all over me. We got it cleaned up, but it was a pretty sick feeling having all that throw-up on me.
Tonight, our fourth game of this session. We play a team called the CMB, which we are pretty sure means <Their School> Marching Band. We played them last week and dominated, so we are going to go for a repeat of this.
So I'm baking some brownies and my power goes out because of this wonderful storm we have had all day. My little brothers and sisters freak out for two solid hours. I lit around 10 candles, and using my fire skills, lit a fire in the fireplace. :P That's when I realized I forgot to open the thing that lets smoke out. Smoke pours into the room and the smoke alarms go off. I open it, getting a cool looking burn on my arm. Then right as I get started on my homework by candlelight, the power comes back on.
And here I am. Brownie-less and still have homework to do. [/rant]
I've been in bad mood at home for the past few days and I have no idea why.
Going to a development weekend for the leadership course I do staff on. I'm an ASPL this year (compared to forum staff terminology, a DM ironically). This means I just get to sit around and critique the new staff's presentation preparation (and of course, behind the scenes work ).
I scheduled my classes today. My next year's classes are as follows:
AP Calculus AB
Computer Programming I*
Computer Programming II*
*Asterisk indicates semester class
My goal is to get one artistic piece, whether it be a photo or something in Photoshop, completed per day. Today's:
And @Synapsi: What was Blue Flare? Only the clan with the largest and longest-living topic in the Clan World of Sal's. I prefer to stay out of debates that can get nowhere such as those.
Today was "fun." All I had to do was put fliers on seats and then I was allowed to sit around all day and talk with friends. :)
And my plan to get to Philmont this summer is to have a road-trip with the other guy who got the scholarship to New Mexico! I just have to get my parents to agree. :)
