My friends and I are so far ahead in class that the teacher actually had to tell us to not do work all of next week in order to let others catch up. :) If they weren't playing games the entire time, they would be caught up already.
In other news, my wrists are now just sore, if you know what I mean.
Tomorrow morning, I get to wake up at 7:00 AM to go to some Scouting Workshop to teach about something that I will find out about when I get there. That lasts until four, but my soccer team has a game at four. :)
I actually cancelled my membership days ago. I realized that I don't play enough for it to be worth it. I can spend that money on things worth it. Anyways, I'll still pop on occasionally in order to merchant a bit (or at least try >.<).
Would it be possible to allow a viewer of my site to use a feature where they type what they want in a box and the text is applied to a picture file of certain dimensions with a blank background?? So say they wanted the picture to say "Hawk," the image would be saved as "hawk.png" to some directory on my site. This is one of those things that I'm finding hard to explain, so I'll try and make some pics later.
Because tomorrow is a "cold day," I went out to the movies with my friends. Of course, Thursday nights are rather empty nights for movie theaters. We watched "Four Christmases." It was a good movie, made much better by the fact that my group of seven or so were the only people in the entire theater. We were allowed to run around, comment on the movie, sit however we wanted, use our phones, and even make finger pictures (which got old after 5 seconds :D). The best part was at the end when we played Human Battleship.
Amazing night. ;D
So Web Design II, AP Computer Programming, and Computer Programming II classes all went to see the interwebz today! Actually, we went to see where everything was hosted, in the largest data center in my state. It was crazy being in the cooled rooms surrounded by hundreds of servers. :o
For lunch, we stopped at a local restaurant. They had a special thing where if you could eat their 22oz (16oz cooked) hamburger, you get your picture on the wall. I barely finished and felt really sick, but I did it. :D I then made it back to school for the last period.
Most likely a two hour delay tomorrow though. :)
Hehe, kind of. My dad thought that Ubuntu looked cool, so he brought me his old Windows 98 Laptop (that he has kept in his closet after it crashing for the last 5 years+) to install Ubuntu on it. This hard drive is only 6gb.
I found another old 160GB hard drive in my basement. ;) I formatted it and searched around for another cord to connect it to my hard drive. It took me about 20 minutes to find it, but now I'm running Ubuntu off of one hard drive and have XP on its own hard drive. Easier than partitioning. :P
Super old pic:
And about the 70GB thing to fill up, I want mostly movies. This is just an extra hard drive that I found in my basement that has no other use, so might as well fill it up so I can play movies via my XBOX's network connection. :P
Warning, language. I know how insensitive it is to laugh at other people when they fail, but for some reason, I can't stop laughing when I watch this. I'm sad.
