Why are all my favourite bands British? Muse, Coldplay, Kaiser Chiefs, Keane, Snow Patrol, U2. The only exception is Paramore.   Americans just can't produce anything other than hip hop/pop nowadays.

What I've been up to lately

My last blog post about a month ago was about ultimate frisbee. I've stepped up a lot since then, playing it three times a week, as well as throwing a disc around every school lunchtime. There's a tournament in the North Island in mid-April which doubles as the NZ U19 trials, so if I can keep playing as often as possible and improving, I might have a chance of getting in, which would be beyond awesome.   In terms of RuneScape, I've kinda stopped playing 2007. It's awesome to play, but a friend from school introduced us all to Red Alert 2 (or reintroduced to me, it was practically the PC game of my childhood along with Zoo Tycoon) so that's taken up all my time. It's much better playing this time around because with all my friends playing it, we can get some decent multiplayer games going.   Also, I've got these two weird ginger patches growing in my hair, that all my friends have begun noticing since my haircut. They're like mirror images, where one's growing on one side, and the other is on the exact opposite on the other side. I don't even know what's going on with that, it's kinda freaking me out a little bit.

Just like to wish everyone a happy new year. What are your resolutions? IRL Resolutions: Regain my spot in the top class.
Achieve something amazing. I'll decide if it classes as amazing when I do it.
RuneScape Resolutions: 99 Mining
Be what I would class as rich. I'm starting at 17M, how I end up achieving this will depend on how much I've earnt, taking into account stuff I've spent on skills.

Well Fu

I can't take Media Studies - Television next year as they've decided the class was too big and cut me from it. So now I have to decide what I'll take instead. They've slotted me into MS - Film, but I'm not in the slightest bit interested. I've been considering Agricultural Science or just General Science (I think they offer standards in Biology/Chemistry/Geology/Astronomy). I'm interested in Geology mostly out of that. The only advice my dad has to offer was to pick something I'm most interested in.

Was I Prank Called?

Playing XBL and the house phone rings. I pick up and some indian man answers asking for my dad. I say he's not at home, so he asks for anyone else in my family. I say I'm home alone, so he asks how old I am. I say 15, and he says I sound 80. I'm like 'wut???' and he asks why I sound 80 when I'm only 15. I say 'idk' so he asks if I'm male or female. I ask the revelance of it and what he wanted. He repeats the male/female question so I hung up.   :P

DISTURBED TOMORROW fudge YES Pretty excited.     Also been very tired lately. School production rehearsals means I have to stay at school till 8:30, meaning I don't get home until 9. Which doesn't leave me a lot of time to do homework/check Facebook/Sal's/Minecraft so I've been finding myself staying up later and later in order to cram it all in before I go to bed.   Semi-formal soon (which I think is junior prom for you guys?) so next opportunity I get I'll ask this girl to go with me, hopefully she says yes.
