Mods Vs Dm

So I checked up today and was like wtf is going on with these blog posts, so I found the topic and read through every post.   Heb0 has a point and I can see why he's quitting. However, if Yuanrang would get off his high horse I really wouldn't see as many people disagreeing with him. Although he has a valid argument, I found myself disagreeing with his every post because he's probably the most elitist person I've ever seen.

Minecraft Sneakiness

My school friends and I that play Minecraft run a server just for us. I hadn't connected to it in ages, but yesterday I jumped on Skype with my most trusted friend (we're the ones who always team up for everything) and we both connected. I found out my house had been destroyed by TNT. He'd been playing recently so could point me in the direction of another house owned by two others. So I collected all my gunpowder and TNTed their house.   Then we convinced everyone on the Facebook group we have for it to get the admin to update to the latest snapshot and therefore start again with a new map before anyone found out about the griefing.   tl;dr - TNTed someone's house and got the map restarted before the admin and owners of the house found out.

Media Studies

We're making a mockumentary on gamers.   One of the members of my group had a couple of guys over on the weekend so they set down a camera where they were going to be gaming. Eventually it was forgotten about and people acted normal. It's amazing and disturbing at the same time to see how often one of my friends scratches his crotch.

Massive Earthquake

Nice way to start your day off at around 4:40AM. >.< Literally woke into this massive shaking and roaring as the house swayed. It was HUGE. I was pretty much shizzleting myself as I saw my room fall around me. There's now this gigantic mess in my room and in the house in general. Our pantry looks like a bomb hit it. Funny thing was, one of my brothers slept through the thing. But he'd fallen asleep watching TV, so maybe there was less swaying downstairs. Insurance companies are going to have a party. Figured I'd post this while waiting for some news. At least I can take one thing good out of this:   EDIT: http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/4094986/Ma...ts-South-Island If you want more information. 7.4 on the richter scale.

Martin Henderson

Peter Dinklage, after winning the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor (Game of Thrones), told the audience to google Martin Henderson just before he left the stage.   Aside from being from New Zealand, what is so special about Martin Henderson?   Anyway, I found a Martin Henderson fanforum, and it was most active about 10 minutes ago thanks to that comment.

Lol

Just had another earthquake. Before September, we were getting only noticeable ones every few years. After September we were getting them almost daily, but now it's died out to about one noticeable quake a week.

Living Rock Caverns

There's not many of you out there that have 80 Mining, but I'm sure this'll help any newbies to LRC who want to get the maximum experience out of it. This is a method pretty much everyone who knows what they're doing uses. It's not mentioned in the actual Sal's guide because, well, we didn't know about that kind of stuff at the time of writing.   Using this map of the LRC: The large blue circle is where you want to spend your time in the LRC. The small yellow circle is your main mining spot. When this isn't spawned, use the bright green rock. Orange is technically a coal deposit, so only use this when both rocks aren't spawned.   Then you have the issue of the LRC's inhabitants attacking you. Because they're so big it's easy to get them trapped behind something. For example, here's a good spot for the yellow spot: Which creates the issue of giving items to your BoB (by the way, I would recommend using a BoB over a familiar that boosts Mining). Simply run to the North East and trap the creature like so, then call your familiar so it's beside you:   The green spot is just as easy. Because of their bulk, it's easy to catch them on a corner: You can get up to 3 trapped at a time and still be able to mine in peace.   From personal experience, using a skills necklace is a great help. Teleporting to the Mining Guild makes for quick banking when you're out of pouches. And like I said earlier, use a BoB. For armour, I just use Sacred Clay platebody + legs, Helm of Neitiznot, and spottier cape + boots of lightness. I survive easily on an empty world, without the use of food.

Little update

First things first - what's up y'all?   Secondly, what I've been up to - Finished up my summer job just over a week ago, and moved into my flat on Wednesday. It's a tiny room where my bed takes up half of it, and the flat itself is pretty nasty, but it's two minutes walk from uni and five minutes by longboard to my work. The internet here is also fantastic compared to home. I also put the idea of a motorbike on the back burner, because my parents are deadset against it and I figured I'll just wait until I'm a little older and more independent. Bought the new PC instead, and been having a lot of fun playing games on max settings (where I previously couldn't even play them).   I think uni doesn't start for like another two weeks so I'll just be mucking around/killing time until then. I was thinking of getting a month's membership like I did early last year when I had nothing to do.

Life

Just transferred TV + Xbox to my room, hooked it up and going to start playing Xbox Live for the first time in 3 or 4 months.   Older brother is moving into Halls of Residence at university, so it'll be weird having only three people around the house now, seeing as my dad is at work during the week. Hoping that he leaves some stuff behind that I've been looking at, so I can nab it from his room. Other brother is staying here, but I just found out earlier that he no longer uses his spare monitor, so going to ask him if I can use it. If I could, my setup would look sick.   Also, uncle and cousin are arriving today from Australia for my mum's 50th birthday. I still haven't got her a present, but I have an idea in mind. My mum wants me walking around and serving food for the party, as she won't let me operate the bar. My brother has that responsibility but he's joking around and saying he'll just put up a sign saying 'open bar'.   Haven't had the opportunity to drive anywhere yet by myself, but I'm hoping to do so later this afternoon as I need to pick up a headset for XBL.

Last day of the school year tomorrow

fudge yeah! Gonna have a party at my place, with fireworks. The majority of my friends are in my year, but there's two in the year above who are graduating high school and another friend who's leaving our school so it's gonna be a pretty sick sending off. End of the school year also means a couple of other awesome things - I have my last period of English ever tomorrow, as well as with Media Studies. I'm dropping English, ICT and Media Studies and my subjects next year will be Geography, Chemistry, Mathematics with Statistics, Mathematics with Calculus and General Science. I'm currently planning on doing geology when I go to university. It feels weird knowing that come January/February I'll be a part of the oldest year group in the school, especially since I've been at this school for nearly 10 years now.   I'll have finished all my exams by the 22nd, which is bad because I've got four in as many days, but also good because that means I'll be done early. I ordered Halo 4 (Limited Edition) last night and that'll be arriving sometime later this week/next week, but I promised to not play it until exams are over. I think a friend will bring it tomorrow but we'll only play splitscreen multiplayer as I'm saving the campaign to do alone all night on the 22nd.

K Umm

Idk what to write. I haven't posted a blog post in a while so I'm posting now because I feel I should. So rather than blogging about something specific, I'm stuck for ideas.   Oya, had first bass guitar lesson today. Raged after production rehearsals because building guitar was in was locked so couldn't take it home to practice. Really enjoyed the lesson, feel like it's going to be much more fun than guitar was. Production rehearsals are from 5:30 to 8:30, and I don't go home between end of school and production. So I'm spending 12h 30m at school a day (minus maybe 30 mins for dinner trip). Which reminds me, I need to start running between school and production, considering my dinner consists of the local McD's. I have barely any time at home, but for some reason this is meaning I'm getting better at routines, as I'm starting to do things I never used to do regularly. I'm getting quite behind on homework though.   I've got a science internal coming up, I'm currently in an economics internal, I have an english internal soon, and a Spanish one soon. I'm falling quite behind on working on them so I doubt I'm going to do well, even though they're all reasonably easy (except for science, but that's only because I sit at the back in class and don't actually pay attention, so don't learn anything). Currently working on probability in maths, which is very easy and absolutely fascinating. I'm currently in a fudge-all mood at school. I've always had trouble concentrating for longer than 5 minutes but it's been getting worse lately. If you'd have asked me 3 or 4 weeks ago if I'd be taking Physics/Chemistry next year I'd have said yes, but now I'd say no, and only because of my difficulty concentrating which makes the subjects much harder.

The joke was entirely overdone and been taking to the point where it's completely obvious.   Oh and please stop closing the topic. Everytime I get home from school to check on the latest drama it's closed for flaming. D:

K Found A New Band

And for the ignorant generalisation part, it's british.   The Subways.   And I have to thank the RocknRolla OST for finding them. Rock & Rock Roll Queen is my current favourite song.

Just watched the Lego Movie

So the school holidays have only just started here meaning the movie only just got released.   A couple of things:   I foresee a massive jump in lego sales.   And damn, that was an awesome movie. So many awesome actors (Will Ferrell is my favourite man in the world, Chris Pratt is pretty up there as well). Very enjoyable movie, was good to bring out the inner child in me, although that tends to surface a bit too often.
