So by now I think the most of you have read this month's postbag from the hedge. You've probably seen people complaining on how Jagex never listens to people on the forums and just says the do by making up their own updates but this postbag says different. Can this be true or just lies to calm down rowdy Runescape players.
Even still there are riots on the forums and in game about the removal of player killing in the wilderness. Jagex is listening to people and thinking of putting in player v.s. player single duels in the wilderness but that still isn't enough for people! How far do you think this will go? Is it possible that pking in the wilderness has a "fighting" chance? Obviously there'd still be that 3k limit. But Benjamin Franklin once said, "You can please some of the people some of the time, you can please most of the people all of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time." I think some players have a problem understanding this.
Take the implant of the trade limit for example. That took a devastating hit on merchants by making merchanting a bit harder to do with a lot of items. Now most of the people who weren't merchants didn't really care about this as much as the merchants did. However, before the 3-30k limit, the whole economy was at risk of suffering. If many people kept buying gold and items online, the whole economy would crumble due to the massive amount of money in the Runescape economy.
So will they really pay a closer attention to what we say or is this all just smooth words?
