I've got yet another project for English, this time it's poetry. :/ I've got the poems picked out, tomorrow I have to give them to him (with the works cited page, in mla format) even though it's an odd schedule day for me and I don't even have him. :s Then, this weekend is a trip up to Michigan to a former summer camp for some cabin camping. Too bad we've got all these little kids, otherwise it wouldn't be half bad. The last time we went was ok, just didn't have enough older kids. I guess I'm supposed to be teaching them some pioneering, lashing and the like. God, what fun teaching even a clove hitch to those little kids will be. :o All I've heard is that we're making a monkey bridge, which isn't all that bad, and I've actually never made one before, however simple it may be.

The real money is playing capture the flag at night against another troop that's going up there with us. :P Hopefully they don't try to cheat like they did last time. :censored:

It's a good thing I've got this trip to look forward to while I sit through English class. :o

Anyone know how to get your browser to allow the download bar so I can download Adobe Flash Player? It won't let me, nothing happens. :o

If you gotta teach kids lashings and whatnot, make a catapult to scare'm :evil:Catapult is easy. Tie a rope around two trees/sticks continueously, and then tie off each end to a different pole/tree. Now put a third log in and twist. You'll get the rest from there :DIt's good fun, especially when they're doin' 40 :drive:

You don't know who you're talking to! For the spring camporee, I somehow was drafted into making snare traps that people walking by set off, either catapulting something over their heads, dragging it across the path by their feet, or rolling it into the river. :drive:

On like March 29th or sometime near then, my troop goes on our next camp out. Of course, I won't come, I have training for a summer camp staff thing. Funny thing is, same place, same time. I will be playing SSBB while they are out freezing in the March weather. :glasses:

Cold?! This isn't cold!I prefer cold over hot anyways.I don't think our staff even has staff training, it's more just on the job.

You could always play "Jacks on", so much fun, embers being drawn on your face :glasses:.

Eh... I always liked to be hot better. You can cool down from getting too hot far more easily than you can get warm again after being too cold.

Not when you're camping, there's no electricity then. For me, it's easier to grab a sweatshirt or a blanket and go, then it is to bring fans.

Sarcasm ftl? Also, we have to do presentations like every day, supposedly we are "perfect."
