Questionable Legality?

I want Photoshop. It's a good program and I've been wanting to play around with it for a long time, because Paint.Net just doesn't cut it. Now, all of the computers at my school have Photoshop CS3, and we each are given our own little hard drives. I copied the program file into my folder, just to have it there, and now have an idea. I could easily take in a hard-disk, save the program, and then put it on my laptop. The only problem is that I don't know if this is legal, and if it wasn't, I would probably still do it if it wasn't for the fear the my school may be able to track all of my actions on the computer. I could just do it, and play dumb if I got in trouble. Suggestions anyone?

School today...nothing happened other than my Spanish teacher had his cute five year-old son in the class, making learning absolutely impossible. Oh yeah, I also tried to build a house of cards in study hall. Yes, I was that bored and no I didn't finish it. A bunch of kids were throwing crap at my house (I would too tbh) and I just decided to end it.

There must be something in the water, but it's probably just the lead pipes.

Meh, try it anyways. If you're under 18 I'm sure they'd understand you have no idea what the law is. :P

If that doesn't work you can always get it for free off of Limewire (I'm not endorsing you doing that, you'll get about 20 viruses, my friend tried it on his computer and it died, and because that Limewire is illegal now you'll probably get an FBI agent at your door the next dayBTW Everybody that i know has it and they all passed around disk that had photoshop on it, so i don't see how your school could track your usage of the program, if you use it on the harddisk they gave it to you on.

When you install it, it asks for serial number which you will not have. It then gives you a code which you need to phone Adobe with and they give you an activation code.Photoshop will install, but only for 30 days.

Yeah. Limewire or Frostwire. Frostwire is the one without the virusses and the legal one of the two.

Well, you could find a teacher that likes you and ask them. I once made this newspaper/newsletter in seventh grade, and my Science teacher was showing our class Publisher. I thought it was a great program and I just said to her I wish I had it; I could make my newspaper look better. She said she might be able to get it for me, and she did. She lied to the tech teacher that she wanted it for her house, I took it home and made a copy of it, multiple copies actually, and returned it. Tech guy never knew.

I'm sure there is some way to do it.
Not without using some key generator - and it'd be pointless getting the files from school then; the trial from Adobe's website would do the same.

I managed to grasp the basics of Photoshop fairly easily, but I just couldn't get the hang of GIMP. Maybe its me though. :greenhat:

Der..... No one suggested Torrents? You won't run the risk of getting a virus like you would with Limewire, as long as you don't do anything stupid.

But torrents take forever.
How fast does your internet usually download? Do you use a router?

Torrents probably take forever for you because you don't have it configured correctly. I just torrented an episode of blech today, it took about 4 minutes to fully download :/

Fine, torrents that I want (Mushishi) take forever. Torrents that I don't care that much about (Bleach) take five minutes.
