Two American scientists are lost in the swirling maze of past and future ages, during the first experiments on America's greatest and most secret project, the Time Tunnel. Tony Newman and Doug Phillips now tumble helplessly toward a new fantastic adventure, somewhere along the infinite corridors of time.
This brilliant show from the 60's only lasted one season, but that didn't stop me from buying both sets of DVDs. :D I really enjoy the cheesy plots and the fact that their computers can do basically anything.
Here's an example of some of the dialogue.
Random astronomer in a rundown mining town: The Nichols Radiometer. There aren't a half dozen of them in existence.
Doug Phillips, American scientist extraordinaire: Do you have one?
Random astronomer: As a matter of fact we do!
Later in the episode, Halley's Comet is being pulled into the time tunnel!!!
Oh no!
Evacuate!
Ahhh!!!
Not Jerry!!! :(
All they had to do was pull the plug...
