its been quite a while since I have posted on here, but thats ok.
Ive been really busy.
Im kind of upset too.
I got a D+ in history (it was an 8 week accelerated class with a... really nice, but strictly grading Dr. of a teacher...
But not only that
My parents have deemed next semester too expensive to live in the dorms. I now have to stay at home and commute. The ONE thing that I did NOT want to do in college...
It makes me mad because my mom is going to California this summer (we live on the EAST coast and shes flying). She says "oh only $500".. but you know how thats gonna end up... Shes going to go there, and pay $500 round trip, +food +SHOPPING which could bring it up over $800 easy.
but my living cost is "too expensive" WITHOUT a meal plan of any sort, hardly any money needed for gas, and the fact that my scholarships pay for ALL of the tuition sides dorm cost. So my parents wont be paying JACK this coming semester, but its too expensive for me to live there... They wont even let me get loans so what the hell?
I told them They better save for my study abroad semester in Japan (provided I get to) and now my mom is making that THE ENTIRE excuse like it was like that from the start.... grrr....
But, she did buy me a brand new bass guitar. Custom job, $70 at an auction, brand new. nice red glossy body, very light body surprisingly (yes it has the electronics, its not bare) and the neck has a slight angle as to let the strings hover about half an inch above the fretboard. Its strange, but I like it. Heres a pic:
still doesn't account for a semester of living back at home (probably 2 actually) Id gladly take it back for a refund If i got back into the dorms!
