Dwarven Anarchy

Quest Requirements: Rat Catchers, Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf, Between a Rock, Fishing Contest, The Giant Dwarf, Watch Tower.

 

*Note: You also must have started Desert Treasure and obtained the Ring of Visibility.

And have the ability to defeat a level 250 foe who is immune to magic, and prayer only works 1/5th of the time against them.

 

 

Prologue: Keldagrim has become filled with mass hysteria, rats are pouring into the city, shop owners are calling each other thieves, the Consortium Companies are accusing each other of stealing their customers, Riney's Keldahops won't grow, all the Dwarves that love to drink are hungover! Can you solve this dilemna?

 

Quest Starting Point: Upon entrance of Keldagrim by the Ferry Boat after you have completed the required quest.

While on the ship, you will see a cut-scene showing the hysteria of the city, and the words:

Chapter 3: Dwarven Anarchy will be drawn across the screen in RED.

 

Speak with Commander Veldaban on how you can begin to help end the chaos of the city. Commander Veldaban will tell you to speak with Rind, the Gardener and find out why his Keldahops won't grow.

 

Speak with Rind, The Gardener who will tell you that he doesn't know why, but he is running out of seeds and the diseased hops won't be cured with normal plant cure. Rind will tell you that the drunken dwarves usually have hidden Keldahop seeds, and that they may help, he also needs you to deliver a letter to Martin, the Master Gardener. Head over to Draynor and speak with Martin, The Master Gardener who will tell you to come back later and he will have a reply.

 

Head back to Keldagrim with 4 Buckets of Milk, 4 Chocolate Dust, and 4 Guam Leaves as well as a Pestle and Mortar. Place the Chocolate Dust in the Buckets of Milk, then grind up the 4 Guam Leaves with the Pestle and Mortar. Then use the Ground Guam with the Chocolatey Milk to get 4 Hangover Cures.

 

You need to use a hangover cure with each of the following: Drunken Dwarf (house with broken glass), Rowdy Dwarf (wandering around the Laughing Miner Pub), Gauss (In the other pub), and Khorvak the Engineer beneath White Wolf Mountain.

 

Each one will give you a scroll as to where they hid their Keldahop Seed before they were hungover. You need to go and collect them.

 

Drunken Dwarf's Scroll:

Every season renewed -

counts marked

towards the Gods,

and hides what you seek.

 

Answer: Search behind the scoreboard in the Castle Wars lobby.

 

Rowdy Dwarf's Scroll:

Atop the tropics

purple and yellow you see,

while children work instead of play.

 

Answer: Search the Banana Trees in the Banana Plantation.

 

Guass' Scroll:

Dressed in pure

wisdom in white -

color marks his surroundings.

 

Answer: Speak with the Oracle.

 

Khorvak the Engineer'* Scroll:

I left it be,

alone, cold and solo

in a murky land.

 

Answer: Speak with Father Aerak in Lumbridge Swamp.

 

Now that you have the Keldahop Seeds, speak with Martin, the Master Gardener in Draynor Village to recieve his reply letter to Rind.

 

Head back to Rind, the Farmer with the seeds and Martin's reply. Rind will tell you that according to the letter you need some blessed super compost, the seeds to be blessed, and having a super plant cure in your possession may help.

 

Head over to Entrana with a bucket of Super Compost and the Keldahop Seeds, and speak with the Head Priest in order to recieve Keldahop Seeds(b) and Super Compost(b). Next grab a Vial of Water and add Marrentill to it, Then grind up Rosemay, Marigold and Nasurtium and add them to the potion to recieve a Super Plant Cure.

 

Next head back to Rind the Farmer and use the Super Compost(b), then plant the seeds, halfway through their growth they will become diseased, use the Super Plant Cure on it. Once the Keldahops have fully grown Rind will thank you and tell you to go back and speak with Commander Veldban.

 

After speaking with Commander Veldaban, you will find out that Kjut's meat supply for his kebabs hasn' been coming through from White Wolf Mountain. Speak with Kjut to find out his supplier is Arhein in Catherby who has been shipping his carts over White Wolf Mountain, but they haven't been getting over. Head out to Catherby, and speak with Arhein, and he will tell you that his assistant who normally does the deliveries is waiting at the bottom of the Catherby Side of White Wolf Mountain. Walk with the Assistant about halfway up the mountain and you will be attacked by three Snow Wolves, levels 72, 164, and 205. Defeat all three and reach the other side of the mountain. Now go back to the Catherby side of White Wolf Mountain and speak with the dwarf who guards the underground passage. Now he will allow the shipment to go through the passage, tell Arhein who will be happy about this change. Now head back to Keldagrim and speak with Kjut to find out that the order is still not going through. Head back to Catherby, get yourself armed and equip a Ring of Visibility, head down into the passage to see a cut scene where a Spirit Wolf attacks the Assistant with the cart, now it's up to you to destroy the Spirit Wolf, level 210. Speak with Kjut back in Keldagrim and you have solved his dilemna.

 

Next speak with Commander Veldaban again, who will tell you that Gold Warriors have been coming out of the caves and Dondaken needs your help to stop them. Head over to Dondaken and he will beg you to kill the current four Gold Warriors, level 62, and then Dondaken will tell you that an old wizard may be able to help you stop them permanantly, so head over to Hazelmere who will "look into your mind" and give you a scroll. Head back to Dondaken and you will read the following text:

 

Bellua minutor imperium ego Abeo Quod Desino Res!!!

English Translation:

Mineral creatures I command you to turn back to your element and end your existance.

 

 

Smokin' Joe and Keldagrim's Rat Infestation

 

Speak with Smokin' Joe and he'll tell you that rats have begun to pile into the city, luckily he was able to make a small cage around each of the three holes to slow them down. Smokin' Joe will tell you that you need to block the holes, and he could make steel planks if you bring him steel bars.

Bring Smokin' Joe 6 Steel Bars and a Hammer and he will make you 6 Steel Planks. Go to each of the holes and use 2 Steel Planks on them, then use Mithril Nails or better on them. Each plank takes 7 Nails.

 

Now that you have blocked the rat holes, you need your cat to hunt down the remaining rats.

 

Now while your cat is hunting down the rats, head over into the market and 24 Chaos Dwarves will appear, each level 48, 12 on both sides of the market. Slay all 24 Chaos Dwarves and then head over to the bank and get prepared for the final showdown.

 

Showdown with a Shaman.

 

Before being able to even damage this Shaman you will need to make a potion. Take a Vial of Water, add Guam Leaf to it, then add Jangerberries, afterwards add Ground Bat Bones. Once you are ready head upstairs to the middle of the Consortium, where an Ogre Shaman dressed in red will appear and start casting spells on the company directors to make them forget. Time for the final bout, against a levell 250 Ogre Shaman. Keep in mind your protection prayers only work on 1/5th of the Shamans attacks. The Shaman will also drain 5 prayer points from you every minute. Luckily, he focuses most of his spells on weakening your stats, but be warned he can still deal up to 25 damage. Also be glad that you will have Commander Veldaban and 5 Black Berserkers attacking the Shaman to help you. Before attacking the Shaman use the potion on it, and then attack it. Once you have killed the Shaman, a cutscene will follow where the members of the Red Axe are arrested. Congratulations Quest Complete.

 

Rewards:

3,500 Herblore Xp

12,000 Farming Xp

25,000 Prayer XP

15,500 Smithing XP

20,500 Magic XP

Granted the Ability to Make Super Plant Cure Potions.

Granted access to a hidden Admanant and Mithril Vein beneath the Consortium.

Shamans Staff

 

Staff statistics:

Attack: Stab +4, Slash -1, Crush +12, Magic +5, Range +0

Defence: Stab +2, Slash +3, Crush +1, Magic +5, Range +0

Other: Strength +2, Prayer +0

 

Can teleport to Keldagrim 4 times, then can be recharged by Commander Veldaban for 3k.

 

 

;D Here we go, now you can't tell me that because the guy who made the ROTRA series quit no one can come up with a decent quest.

You forgot Biohazard where you learn how to make a hangover cure.

Hm.... Remember that Mysterious Jarrod quest? If not follow this. How about writing the next Grand Master Quest? I think the two of us could come up with a decent story line, traps, solutions and the like.

No problem, as it is my life has it hectic moments, and that is something I can't get away from for the next 2 years :(Still, as long as it isn't a quest guide aimed at the site it is possible to work on it. It'd just take longer but that wouldn't matter.
