Awwww! I think that Mike was so successful because he presented himself as a player who didn't need this monetarily. He was doing it for the craic. Did you have your best armour on and was stating that it was for a laugh? Some players did try to emulate Mike, while we were there, but they had stripped down to default clothing and it seemed like they were doing it as a glorified begging. I'm not saying that you were doing this, just that the look of it might dictate whether other players are judging it as a laugh or begging.

I saw Mike earlier and now he has got to 1k irit seeds for 235,000gp :)

from today (4 hours) got from black elite full helm (109k) to sara d hide body (747k)... thats all im doing for today good night,... ill resume in the morning and ceep you updated =]

i dont think a sara sword would take to long... mabey a week

And Mike! It's amazing that you've got to a Sara Dhide Body from a needle. So it's been 13 hours so far? I find it hilarious that you could have made that money several times over in that time (I saw you turning down trips to Godwars), but you're doing it for the craic. I also love that, for this to have happened, a series of people in game haven't been worried about losing a couple of grand in trading you. Incidentally, my calquat seed is planted and growing nicely. I practically glomped you when you called out that one! :lol:

thanks and no probs and still stuck on the sara top but now iv allso got a d scimmi and a hand cannon (i had a rune skirt with the sara plate what i forgot to mention earlyer)

 

edit: cannon traded for d long

 

ok from the d long i mannaged to trade the scimmi and the long for 156 red chins and 149 gray ....

 

then i traded the chins for 75 addy bars makeing 160k into 200k

 

-note- cant get rid of sara d hide top it seems the more valuble items in the game are harder to trade

just to update you on my latest trade the sara d hide body and 75 addy bars for 349 sara brews (4) ... and im over a mill now

 

sara brews for vercs skirt (got 34 brews left)

ok i think im going to stop now... at a total of 1,036,648gp ... for a needle worth 1 gp and around 10 hours work

 

so a free 1m for me... the only reseion i stoped as that trades were getting to slow ... it took about 30 mins avage to sell the item i was on (700k+)
