My Full Anthology
Well, here goes an attempt to compile links to all of my works here at Sal's. Here goes nothing:
Short stories:
This is a story I wrote in which I tried to compile the depths of human emotion in an action-packed setting, similar to "A Great Lament."
Although my intrapersonal conflict failed, I believe this short story is still one of my better works.
One of my, quite literally, short stories, this story is my attempt at a sudden plot-twist.
Once again, another attempt at displaying raw human emotion; in this case, the said feeling was love.
I actually wrote this two years back as a horror story to read to the class. Take what you wish from it.
Probably my best work, as SlashingUK seemingly loved it. This shows a realistic setting, in which I tie emotions/decent characters in with the plot.
This story was a short piece describing how Marimbo became the Ape god.
This story was a short filler I needed to write in between novels. I hope you enjoy it.
This was just a short little work that I made over a year ago. Nothing much to it, I must say.
This story tells the tale of Iban as a boy, the one who would become a black knight and boldly lead Zamorak's forces against Saradomin.
This is one of my personal favorite short stories of mine. It tells the tale of an old man and how he handles being mocked for his so-called 'fairy tales.'
This tale tells of a farmer boy during the Godwars. Another one that I consider one of my better works.
This short story tells of the atrocities committed not during the Godwars, but before them. In it I try to bring out 'The Devourer,' a now lost god who probably had a significantly larger following back-in-the-day.
Alright, here it is. This is "A Great Lament," my most widely acclaimed short story. On my other short story topics I often recieve comments such as "This is really good, but not as good as A Great Lament." I also would like to add that this is the most popular short story ever on these forums, reaching over three thousand views and over one hundred replies with seven pages of them.
This story tells about the demon leader Gorath Tor and his ecounter with Sliske, the great Mahjarrat lord of the shadows.
This is a newer short story of mine, made to celebrate my two year anniversary here in the Runescape Stories section of the Story Mat of Sal's. The story is about Amascut and her transformation from the goddess of rebirth to the goddess of destruction, a title she currently holds in the Runescape universe today.
Of all my short stories, this one is the one that I believe to be my "masterpiece," so to speak. The reception, therefore, was a heartbreaker.
This story tells the tale of the Mahjarrat's epic break from Icthlarin's bondage.
Winner of the December 2009 Story of the Month contest.
I was about a year late on releasing this one. Definitely one of my best works, at least in my opinion.
Novels:
This 'novel' was my debut story here on Sal's Forum. It was very popular, and I completed around New Years of 2008. It was started October 2007, and I've always regarded it as a primary example of my early work here on Sal's.
This is the sequel to Age Of Zaros, and was completed a month and a half after I finished that 'novel.' I was rushing the story, especially towards the end, but I still think it is worthy of mention here.
This is the crown jewel of all my work here on Sal's. This is not only my longest novelesque story here on Sal's, but it's my personal favorite as well. It is divided into three distinct parts, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. It also is one of the most viewed and commented on stories ever.
This is my latest novelesque story. It tells about the horrors of the Godwars, but from a soldiers viewpoint.
Poems:
Definitely one of my best poems ever. Enjoy.
Another of my better poems, I wrote this while under the influence of depression, and I think I was subconsciously seeking 'to love,' hence the name 'Amare.'
Definitely not one of my greatest poems, but a poem by yours truly nonetheless.
This was a thing that just popped into my head one day, and so the next day I felt extremely motivated to write it. One reason I enjoy writing shorter pieces is that you can fit all of the work in during your "inspired" period, which makes it much easier and more enjoyable.
But wait! This anthology isn't complete! I have five or six poems that haven't been posted on these forums yet, my first-ever novel Verdenfale, which I wrote when I was twelve, is not currently available, and three short stories, including probably my two greatest ones, are in the Newspaper pending list, and have yet to be released to the public. So stay tuned!
