I found out today that the half-duplex on my hub is causing major networking issues as I have 3 hosts online constantly sending packets.

With a hub, this is distasteful. The collision rate is very high. To think if I spent 30$ on a used switch all my problems would be solved.

OH! I also met Radia Perlman, the creator of spanning tree protocol! My teacher Rick knows her personally and had her come in and give a speech/lecture today in my networking class. Talk about awesome!
