If you were after money through doing a skill which isn't buyable, wouldn't Hunting be a better choice than fishing? Although for your sake, I hope Hunting has improved in the last year or so if you attempt that, it was such a boring skill. At least fishing was fairly decent to tinker with.

it is so extremely crowded nowadays (red chins)

 

really no fun

fishing is better there because crowds don't matter

Yeah, hunting chinchompas is just a pain. I could runecraft for money, but that requires a lot of clicking and concentration, whereas it's so easy to be AFK while fishing rocktails.
