The one group of people in Sal's that seems to be growing are the videomakers who pop in and drop off a video. How does one convert that group into producing anything worthwhile in the forum or contributing to the site? Is it possible?

Ideas:

  • Runescape videos section of Salmoneus.net
  • We actually try to give feedback to these people instead of ignoring them
  • Post count requirement for posting videos...that might just scare them off.

Thoughts?

It depends on the video, if I see one that actually interests me, say gimmick PK videos I generally at least look at them. I'm not convinced they really want feedback, as I guess it's ultimately about video views.

I wouldn't put post requirements on to make the topics, because that probably will put the majority of them off.

It is frustrating to see people barking at them for only coming to post a video, though I haven't seen that for sometime.

I forget what topic this was said in but basically, Sal's Realm of Runescape is dying. Not really any use forcing people to churn out guides and content really.
