At the risk of being totally out of synch with the other bloggers here who are all about the in jokes and links, it's time for another dull 'hey, I levelled up' blog post.

96 slayer first. Mostly accomplished with the help of the 350k not quitting in August bonus, but I've also been pouring all my lamps, penguin points and jack of trades rewards into slayer (as well as actually slaying a lot) in a push towards 99 before the EoC. The 700k not quitting in September bonus gave me level 97. I'm not sure I'll get to 99 in time, but I hope to at least pick up enough charms for 99 summoning before it happens.

After a while, I needed a break, and a more afk-able skill to work on. I'm gradually running out of these (I'm only 350k from 99 mining, and I'll fish after EoC when I can drop from the action bar). Thieving was the answer. It's fast xp with the monkey knife fighters, but very click-intensive. With the new zoom in function, and a tall think rezised window, it doesn't require as much accuracy of clicking as before, so I can watch TV while thieving, with breaks to rest my wrist. I've gone from 800k to 95 to 900k from 96 in pretty much one long run of thieving, putting me on 2442 total level, with 33 level ups required for the max cape.

After the max cape, I'm concentrating on real life :-)

EoC is still vague, and seems to be gradually slipping.

odd isn't it, one would expect them to put forward dates and such since it's their biggest update since RS2...

Personally, I'd expect them to take their time until people are relatively used to it and they've done what they want with it. They have mentioned in almost all their blog posts that they're planning to do x or finish off y, so it makes sense that they haven't set a date yet.

Maybe we need a 'Runescape' section for Sal's Runescape ;)
