Talked to parents kind of.

Aabid

This is a follow up to my last blog post.

So today, I decided to be a nice doggy. I worked all day and did everything.

Then at 7pm I decided I would play.

Now the rage starts again.

screaming etc.

1.I asked why I can't play. Asked for a reason. They are like we are your parents and can do whatever we want so there is no reason.

2.During Ramadan forget playing, I can't even go on the pc. which means I'm going to get really depressed for sure. I want to know there are people out there who are normal...

3.They are "banning" League. Like who do they think they are...

4.They want me to take my youth into good use for religion etc. I already spend 5+ hours a day and they want me to spend more.

5.I played 4 league games yeserday. Mom starts how I wasted 4 hours doing nothing. I said 3 hours and she started acting like I had just killed someone.

6.Dad said he dsnt want to talk about it saying its like afight in the hhouse.

7.They say there are many things on the computer and how much time it wastes. you dnt even know what you are doing.

there is so much more.

i just want to die

I'm confused, why did your parents buy you a computer if they don't want you to touch it?

1. My parents do that all the time. Honestly don't try to keep asking for a reason they won't give it to you. They're doing everything for a reason. It's not so you don't have fun or anything like that. It's always for your benefits. They are looking out for you wether you like how they are doing it or not.

2. It's Ramadan. Read more Qu'ran. Pray more. Also you're going to be depressed cause you can't play? Do you have friends? Go outside. Play sports. Go to there houses. Spend time with your friends. Basically, get a social life. Go out and you won't miss your computer games. Your parents will see that you are spending time else where and listening to them and will probably let you play when you gett home.

3. "Like who do they think they are.." They are your parents, that's who. It's their house, their rules. They get to ban whatever they want. You have to listen to them.

4. I don't know about this, but just continue to do what you're doing.

5. To them it is a waste of time. I mean, games are a waste of time. That's what they are meant to do. It's something to do in your spare time to enjoy yourself.

6. That's good. He doesn't want to add to the chaos.

7. That's true I guess. There are A LOT of things you can do on the computer and a lot of them are good time wasters. Of course there are bad things on the computer as well. Maybe show them something beneficial you are doing with the computer. Reading up on more Islamic stories, further increasing your knowledge. Watching youtube videos of Imam's giving speeches, etc. They will see that the computer can be used for good as well.

"I Just want to die"

Over your computer being banned? Are you kidding me? Trust me you don't even want this thought going through your head. You'll realize how much your parents do for you when you're older..

----------------

I know it may seem like I'm preaching here but I've gone through very similar situations like yours and now that I'm older and about to leave the house, I realize why they did all these things and it was all for me and for my benefit. I realize now if I listened to them I would have done FAR better in school. I could have spend those 1000s of hours with friends instead of playing games. I could have exercised and became more fit. Instead of going to a good university I could have gone to a great university.

Take whatever you want from this. It's all from my experience. You don't have to listen to me and I don't know your exact situation and how your parents are.

This, really truly this.

I feel this is like some kind of real-time movie where Aabid slowly breaks down and becomes insane, and eventually Brad Pitt is in the middle of the desert going "whats in the box? What's in the booxxxX??"

Aabid's parents' heads. That's what's in the box.

TIL muslims have no free time

TIL people with free time aren't muslims

it's the weirdest mentality ever, you can not try to understand it, living in a Muslim family I can say I don't care to understand it, I just keep telling my parents they're crazy old people :cute:

1. Oke

2. I’m a hafiz and I read 8+ hrs everyday anyways. Nt boasting or anything just stating the fact. Nt allowed to have a social life as I said. Can’t go anywhere either.

3. Sure but they can’t let me do anything ^.^

4. Continue doing what

5. True

6. Meh

7. I’m doing stuff like that the whole day – becoming an alim atm. No need to do stuff like that on the computer.
