PROOF THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE IS POSSIBLE!!

 

Of course traditional zombies could never exist, but perhaps a disease or something of the sort could render the human body into a sleep-walking-like state. LET ME DREAM DAMN IT.

My major gripe would be how their metabolism (or what remains of it) shouldn't be able to synthesize and replace skin and tissue lost from the wear and tear of just walking.

 

In 3 weeks, their feet ought to have been so mutilated and worn that they can't walk 2 metres much less chase humans down.
