No sorry Aabid, I've never had to do an endoscopy and I don't know anyone who has.

From what I've read at least it's a painless medical procedure, so don't worry too much about it. I think it's more unconfortable than painful. And it's only a throat endoscopy, can't be that bad. A stomach one sounds a lot worse. :P

Yeah they numb your gag reflex or something it'll just feel really uncomfortable but it won't hurt.

It's also very easy to use, opposed to cortisone injections. :(

I had an endoscopy performed a few months ago, and I couldn't feel or remember a thing after the procedure. However, an anesthesiologist sedated me, and I've heard that's not the way it's done in most hospitals. Anyway, they went down to my duodenum and in your case they're only going down to right before the stomach at most, so it shouldn't be painful.

I think they are going to put me to sleep. That should be better no?
