    Ironman Smudge

Smudging is flat, BG needs more to it, colors could be better, and text needs to go/be fixed.

    Rate My Siggy

Very nice, crop out the bottom, because it may offend some people, but also it throws off the balance of it. That white scribble thingy in the BG on the left should probably be deleted. Maybe the black tree-ish stuff on the far left too. It'll help with the balance. I like the stock usage and blending here, could I have the stock of the girl?

    Vista Sig Update

Can we not just use the Vista BG. Anyways, if you're gonna stick with using that Vista thingy, get rid of the border or make it 1 pixel black, and make the text small and white slightly offset to the upper right.

No, they're self-made effects. To be put simply, most brushes are for inexperienced GFX designers.

    How "spoiled" Are You?

Er... I've got my dad's old crappy laptop. Probably worth $150? I've got a bed lawl. I get bread and cheese too <- rofl JK I don't get any allowance, and as for clothing, I pretty much get $10-30 clothes and have like 5 of each... thing? Pants, shorts, T-shirts that is. And my parents pay for piano lessons which are $41 each week and travel basketball which is like $300 for the season. Oh yeah I've got a $300 iPod last Christmas and a $400 drum set last birthday. MY gifts are getting better as I get older lawl.
  9. 3/10, decent colors and not very good quality images and needs better effects.
  10. Guide To Training A Pure Or Hybrid As A Non-Member Written by Jeff of Sal’s Runescape Forum Introduction This guide will help new pure-makers plan, supply, and train a pure or hybrid. This guide will not, however, tell you how to PK (player-kill) with it. Update Log [4.2.06] Guide is created with the strength pure section completed. Some pictures are also added. Contents [1.0] What Is A Pure Or Hybrid? [2.0] Strength pure [2.1] Planning a strength pure [2.1] Training strength as a pure or hybrid To be added [3.0] Range pure [3.1] Planning a range pure [3.2] Training range as a pure or hybrid [4.0] Mage pure [4.1] Planning a mage pure [4.2] Training mage as a pure or hybrid [5.0] Hybrids [6.0] Range/Mage hybrid [6.1] Planning a range/mage hybrid [7.0] Range/Melee hybrid [7.1] Planning a range/melee hybrid [8.0] Mage/melee hybrid [8.1] Planning a mage/melee hybrid. [9.0] Conclusion [10.0] FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) [1.0] What Is A Pure Or Hybrid? A pure is generally described as an account that specializes in some select skills. A pking pure has low defense made to pk (quite obvious) Its extreme offense is supposed to outweigh its horrible defense. It kind of follows the motto "Offense is the most effective defense." A hybrid is basically an account that is "pure" in more than 1 type of combat. They specialize in different styles of fighting, and they follow the same motto. [1.0] Strength pure A strength pure is a pking account that specializes in training strength, with a limited amount of other stats. These generally get better as they train more. [2.1] Planning a strength pure To make a strength pure, you most likely want to have all your items ready before training. This may require training other skills to make the money, or collecting cow hides as you train there in the following chapter. A way I find as an effective stat distribution is in the following steps… 1. 10 attack, 20 strength 2. 20 attack, 30 strength 3. 30 attack, 45 strength 4. 40 attack, 60+ strength As you can see, I have strength a decent amount higher than attack. Strength is believed to be more important, but opinions may vary. Here are some points to think about. Strength 1] Allows you to hit higher ----- This therefore brings more "KO's" (knockouts) in which they kill another player before they can consume the food, which basically happens when you constantly hit higher than how much the other player's food heals. Attack 1] Allows you to hit more often ----- This also brings more KO's. The strength is obviously important, but with higher attack, constant hits will become more common, so KO's will occur as long as your strength is reasonably high. Both ways have advantages, and your personal preference should help you out. Defense is another thing many pures consider. As a 1 defense pure, I am often eating more than I am hitting, so I personally think 10 defense is better for non-members, but I have heard that the more you train a strength pure, the better they get at pking. Prayer is also something many pures (especially strength pures) address. I personally don’t like prayer, but if you want it, get 31 prayer at 70+ strength. Never get just 25 prayer, since it doesn’t give you much offensive bonus and just saves money for poorer people. 43 prayer is also an option, but I would only consider it at much later levels, when impures also have it. Overall, this is an example of a decent pure in the making. [2.2] Training strength as a pure or hybrid Training is obviously a very important part of making a pure. In the following lines, I will give recommended training areas for 1-10 defense pures. My steps will involve the stat distribution I mentioned in the previous chapter along with more steps. This will all involve using the best possible scimitar, since that is how I trained, and I believe it is one of the most, if not the most, effective weapons for training. [1. 5 attack, 10 strength] I recommend training at the chicken coup south of Falador. Get 5 attack and strength first, and then the 10 strength. [2. 20 attack, 30 strength] The cows near the crafting guild (slightly south, very far west of Falador) are an awesome place to train. Bring the best armor you have (which will most likely be full black or iron) and simply attack them. Get 20 attack and strength first, then the other 10 strength levels. If you are an iron pure, you can continue training here until 40 attack and 40+ strength. An alternative is to train on the men inside a house in Edgeville. It's pretty decent experience. [3. 40 attack, 45 strength] Once you reach 20 attack and 30 strength, do Vampire Slayer, since it’s quick experience, and no hitpoints experience. I know many people think no hitpoints is bad, but I think extra strength levels are much better than extra hitpoints. To get these stats as an iron pure, continue training at cows. If you are a black pure, dwarves are better, but not until you have 30 attack already. The dwarves at the general store in the Dwarven Mines are good, since there’s a lot in a small area. [4. 60 strength] The zombies in Edgeville Dungeon will be good for getting 60 strength. Bring a full inventory of trout or better, and train there until you’re out of food. Go to the Edgeville Bank and repeat it. [5. More strength] There are many okay training areas at this point. Some places are: zombies at Edgeville Dungeon (again), skeletons in Varrock Sewers, Hill Giants in Edgeville Dungeon (this isn’t good training at all, but the extra money from selling big bones might be helpful) Bring trout or better (preferably salmon and better) and adapt to your own ways of training. Jeff ^_^
  11. //- 6/10. Even though you're a Distinguished Member, I don't have much of a clue who you are, but I barely recognize you, even if I do. 6/10 for being a distinguished member, 2/10 for me not having a clue who you are. Jeff :s

How to be an Effective Debater

Cool. Maybe this can help me as my concentration drifts from Off Topic General Chat to Debate Room :/ Also, you mispelled "please" which I bolded, and the sentence is a run-on. Jeff
  18. I used to train there. Buying kebabs got a bit tedious, but if you're patient, it's definitely a good training spot. And thanks :P Jeff :P
