  1. The only thing that could draw my attention is Kate Middleton. She is hawt :D Shes your common, average, cake-faced brunette at best with no defining features that make her unique, the only notable difference between her and the average bear is that shes in your face every day courtesy of the prime time television bombing media. Walk down a city street on any given afternoon and you'll see about 10 or so kate middleton +'s by the time you get to the other end.
  2. The only thing that could draw my attention to this is if there were rumor of an assasination plot, or attempt, or if one of the two got shot prior to the day. True story.
  3. I'd pick either mod or admin because i like the green color.
  4. Mr. X, have I ever told you that you creep me out? There's nothing creepy about it, he's somewhat correct. Sometimes people don't need medication or advice and they just need to get laid.
  5. :D I used to think you were cool :(, Digimon was just knock-off Pokemon :P You pretty much liked one or the other.
  6. So i'm still looking for someone with a good ambient playlist.
  7. So i just finished watching insidious....i mean there was a few scary parts and the age old idea of posession and body snatching by demons, but other than that i wasn't really impressed, it just seemed cheap, and the demons aka "the further" looked like the weirdos from
  8. ...... :( wtfbbq.... why? We're New Zealanders. It's what we do. Must be just you two. Don't remember seeing anyone irl do that. :L You must live in Wellington :D I do live in wellington, it sucks. The sheep shaggin joke? you disgust me.
  9. Mummies Alive, Gargoyles, Batman, Street Sharks, Captain Planet, Where In The World Is Carmen SanDiego, TinTin.
  10. You're saying he deserves to be punished for having religious views contrary to his parents'. He's going against, in a house that dictates otherwise, regardless of what im saying he may just well be punished for that yes. Authority. Just because it happens in society doesn't mean it's right. Clearly, yes, it does happen. But agreeing with it? Do you agree with worldwide sexism just because it'll happen anyway? Segregation? You're turning a blind eye for argument's sake and it's not cool in one of the very few fairly serious advice topics we get around here. No joke this time. Tell them. Don't giggle or anything. Go up to them and ask if you can tell them something serious, ask them to sit down and tell them. Explain in detail why you don't believe in a god and there -shouldn't- be any problems. No no i agree that it's something that shouldn't happen, i however accept that it does, and also accept that this always has, and will happen. I and you also play no major part so im not going to preach for or against, but more in the inevitability section. Also, you're all telling him to go against his family. It really isn't wise to suggest he just do it in a religious family, you're all going to fudge him sideways. At the least he will be frowned upon in the household. I'm sure any family would rather hear the truth then continually be told lies. If not, then he isn't in the right family and he shouldn't live his life as a lie and charade just to make them happy. I agree but to survive in this kind of family (im not saying all christian families are like this) but to lie, or at least till the age where you can hold you own, may just well be a necessary action, and there are many who do just that. I also agree that this may well not be the right family, but like the saying unfortunately you cant pick your family. Everyones "tell them the truth" scenarios and suggestions are subject to one simple truth, that shizzle may just go wrong. Also, the word "should" or "shouldn't" is being used a lot.

  13. Great time to study evolutionism and science! I lol'd. Bad idea, you shouldn't be punished for something you believe. I'm not an athiest, but your parents should understand. They might not want it to happen, but they know that they can't change you. of course all punishment is due if it goes the wrong way, it is their house after all. Its fair to say believe in what you believe in, and i agree fully, but if you're going to preach it under someone elses roof you're asking for trouble. Briefly mentioning you are an atheist and preaching a religion are entirely different. Also, no one should be punished due to their religious beliefs. In a strict christian household, theres nothing brief about mentioning you go against everything they believe in. And there it is again "should" and once again i agree but this is the world we live in, people do get punished for religious beliefs. They always have, and they always will.

They might not want it to happen, but they know that they can't change you. You shouldn't be punished i agree, but it happens, and will continue to happen regardless of what you think shouldn't be done or not. Keeping his head down for now would be the smartest choice, rather than causing a rift within the household, especially with religion as such a touchy subject to question. That being said his parents might be lenient, i guess its a risk he may or may not have to take, of course all punishment is due if it goes the wrong way, it is their house after all. Its fair to say believe in what you believe in, and i agree fully, but if you're going to preach it under someone elses roof you're asking for trouble. Also, whats wrong with believing what you want and at the same time appeasing your parents values? just go to church and zone out.
  15. Alright back on topic, buck up and handle it, when you're 18 you can do whatever you want when you're paying your own bills.
