    Furnished Bosses

I've never soloed Stomp before, but in groups I find him one of the easiest bosses. Hopefully you've already figured out that you can see where the rocks are gonna fall because of the shadow blobs that appear on the floor, and if you stand on those, no rock will block that square. One useful trick is that if you can't reach BOTH lodstones, don't use a crystal on the other one. KEEP the crystals and let him heal (He has low def and hp, no biggie), and then you can focus only on charging the lodstones when the rocks fall again. Other than that, thinking and reacting fast is important, so that the rocks don't block your path. Play on a low-ping world, and close all other programs/downloads/uploads/etc. Bring lots of food; if you pick up all coins and alch all decent drops throughout the dungeon, you can easily buy a full inventory.

    Herblore

Complete the Druidic Ritual quest. Read the guides on the site next time, the first paragraph in the herblore guide would have answered this. :)

    How To Train Magic?

I recommend superheating steel bars; you'll profit from it (Some 15 gp per bar atm) and get up to 100k magic expph with super-fast clicking, along with about 25k smithing expph. But that really requires super-fast clicking, with mouse keys and everything. With a slightly more relaxed speed you're looking at 70-80k expph, which still blows alching out the window. :)

    Youtube Help

I don't have much experience with video editing, but your problem doesn't seem to be the dimension, because the whole video IS 640x480 (Otherwise you wouldn't have the 480p option on youtube), it just consists mostly of black bars that squeeze the rs window. Maybe you vidded it in a smaller resolution and forgot to zoom in?
  6. Just a small side note, wow actually uses much less power than rs. :) On my computer, I can run wow smoothly while other games are running, but not rs. Taskmanager shows the same; rs uses much more cpu. -.- Wow just has a better graphics engine, and uses your graphics card more. Does the problem happen in standard detail as well? If it does it's not anything with your graphics card, because standard detail only uses cpu to render graphics. Might be nice to confirm.
  7. One of the great things about online games with low system requirements, is that you can play them while keeping programs like a browser or msn open while playing it without any noticeable performance differences. However, I can't, because these programs (Especially msn, actually) will randomly download a chunk of data, and thus cause a lag spike in-game. Which by itself is wierd, I don't get why 5kb of data halts the data stream for the game for up to a second on a 350kbs connection? -.- But my actual question is, is it possible to a dedicate a certain amount of network capacity (Let's say, 20kb/s) to a certain program or port which no other program could use, thus preventing msn or firefox from causing lag spikes in games? :) I tried googling a little but I couldn't find anything, so I decided to ask here. :)

    Corporeal Beast Guide

Wrong -.- Vid of a corp beast solo. :) No bug abusing, no other guy healing him, just uber nice fighting skills. Idk if anybody has commented on this before (Cba to open all the comments one by one), if somebody has, sorry. :)

    Chain Farming Guide -complete-

I can't believe how everyone still runs all the way from Falador to get to the taverley tree patch, when you can take a balloon from gnome stronghold and appear right next to it. :) Requires a normal log for each trip, which you can easily chop from one of the nearby trees. Downside is, you can't take familiars on balloon trips, which means your tree trip must be done seperately from fruit tree trips if using a giant ent... which is VERY inconvenient. But walking all the way from falador is more. :) Off topic: Other posts show up unless I click on them and reload the whole page. -.- Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Web Of Shadows (Halloween 2009)

Best update ever for those of us who keep swapping between members and back to freelay for a time, though the explanation in the Jagex page is a bit confusing... I still can't bank my gold. Knowledge base >> Bank >> Free and Member Bank Space << I suggest you read that :D But I'm gonna go ahead and guess that you have more than 68 freeplay items in your bank, in which case it won't allow to store any more free items. :) Those rewards were from the halloween quest - this is a holiday event. There's a big difference. Firstly, holiday quests are available even after the holiday season has passed, and they can give exp and teleports and those nice things. Unlike holiday events, which have no requirements, no exp rewards, no gameplay rewards, and they can never be done again after the holiday season has passed. Which is kinda the point. This is what all holiday event were like until last year... Personally, I loved the event, and the rewards were better than many others, even though the cape looked horrible. This is my fifth halloween event, so I've seen quite a few holiday events I can compare this to. Fine. Then why is there no Halloween QUEST? Don't ask me, I didn't make this update. ^_^ I suggest you try asking on the official forums.

Within The Light - Quest Scroll Missing

The level 11 mourners in Arandar drop full in one kill as well... Also, you don't have to clean and reapir the robes anymore. You get a death talisman from the elf before you enter the death altar, should be added to rewards instead of needed items. (You get to keep it after the quest) I only lost hp on the ballista path once, when I realized those thorns did damage. Play on a server with low ping and don't rush it and you'll be fine. What will damage you during the quest is the shades, when you walk in with the elf guy he will kill them as soon as they come into sight, but when you walk up to the crystal they are likely to hit you a few times... I don't see any reason not to bring a shark or two, so keep that food recommendation there. ^_^

    In Neeed Of Help! Fast!

We have a question forum for topics like these. My best (and only) suggestion is to try another world, or just wait a few more minutes. (Since this thread is half an hour old, I guess you already did that)
