  1. Just to clarify, if affects how long you can run because it increases the rate at which your energy recharges. But you're correct. It has no effect on combat, unless of course you need to chase down an opponent.
  2. If you were thinking of complementary colors, red's would be green. Blue would look good with red (eg. Agility Cape), but with the gold trim, the color scheme would be a bit off. It would be best to stick with reds and golds for this particular outfit. I liked the default clothing suggestion. There is a nearly infinite amount of combinations of style and color, and some of the clothes look pretty cool.
  3. Regardless of what you choose to start training, I would suggest that you incorporate Farming runs into the mix, between levels, quests or tasks. It's very convenient to train as you progress along with other goals. Dungeoneering could be a good place to start for you, especially because it's your lowest. You'll gain a decent amount of combat experience, and small amounts of experience in other skills. I like to see balanced skills, so perhaps setting a goal of 60+ for all your skills would be a good one for you.
  4. You could always supplement your combat training with a little bit of Dungeoneering. It won't be as effective in terms of combat experience, but you do gain a decent amount, as well as small amounts of experience in other skills. I agree with Yoyoma, however, and I would suggest that maybe you hold Dungeoneering off until you finish this "skilling weekend."
  5. Once you are able to grow Poison Ivy Bushes, I would definitely suggest growing them. Planting, checking the health, and harvesting will get you about 1k experience for each bush. Also, they don't get diseased at all, so you don't need to use compost or pay the farmer. They take roughly 3 hours to grow, so you can potentially repeat the process up to 4 times a day. Allotments don't give a large amount of experience all at once, but they DEFINITELY add up. I think it would be worth doing, especially because you can make money from strawberries, and marigolds or limpwurts.
  6. You are correct. I neglected to return to the previous thread to respond to that "improvement" on my post. Each day, at 00:00 GMT, when the next RS day actually begins, your subjects will collect a certain amount of resources based on your approval rating AT THAT TIME. Your approval rating will also drop 1% as this happens. So, to MAXIMIZE your profit, you would want to return once a day to bump your rating back to 100%. Yet, you can still make a significant profit if you forget to do so a couple times.
  7. To clear some misinformation up, 75k is withdrawn from the coffers each day. The amount you have in the coffers doesn't affect that 75k. The routine I use, is to put 1.35m in the coffers at the beginning of the week. During the week, I try to keep my approval rating at 100% each day, if I can remember (you lose 1% for each day). After 7 days, the coffers are down 525k, and the materials that you can gain are worth MUCH more than 525k. I believe that the previous posters were correct in their suggestions for "maxing" your earning potential, but you can profit from almost all of the options. I kept 5 workers on raw fish for a while, to collect the fish for 99 cooking. I made money that way, but could probably have made some more using other combinations.
  8. I would suggest something like Greater Demons, before Hellhounds. Crimsons will get you there a lot quicker than Golds. Also, I would look into doing Familiarisation once a week for the triple charm drop time.
  9. Again, apparently that doesn't matter to them. And 3 months really isn't all that long ago.
  10. Hmm, I see. Well if the reason they gave for the punishment was that you were guilty of botting, you don't really have grounds to argue. You've already admitted that you did it. Apparently it doesn't matter to them which account it was on. If they had just banned that pure account, you probably wouldn't have cared quite as much. So it seems the punishment they chose has had it's desired effect.
  11. Did they ban the pure that you botted on too? Because it would make sense that they ban all the accounts you've created.
  12. I disagree with the people who said Notes, Familiarisation, and Fish Flingers. I get about 160 Crimsons during the 40 minutes of triple charm drops each week, after doing Familiarisation. And I didn't make use of Fish Flingers until this past week, but it's a fun alternative for gaining fishing exp. In about 20 minutes, including the game time and the waiting period, I get roughly 18k exp., which is a higher rate than most other methods. You can even use the tokens you earn to buy raw fish. I think the most useless was the Hard tasks for the Lumbridge area Achievement Diary. You get 900exp, and a few free High Alch spells. Quite useless.
  13. Don't get either!!! I think 74 is too early to start thinking about going straight for a 99. You've still got nearly 12M experience to go. Chances are you will burn yourself out by doing one skill for that long. I suggest going for 80 first.
  14. You could say it....but it wouldn't be quite as applicable as it is to Dungeoneering. There are LOTS of variables that would significantly effect the total time.
  15. AcroBaceBat - The original poster was not looking for suggestions for a new skill that Jagex should create. He was asking people for advice on what skills/activities he should work on, in order to make his account better. You may have skimmed the original post, but from now on try to do a more thorough job of reading before you post. That being said, let's attempt to get back on subject, and help The Darkest. I like DeeKay's suggestion. I've made goals like that for a while now, and it helps to keep things from getting overly dull. Another suggestion I would make is to integrate Farming into your routine, regardless of what your goals are. Farming isn't what you would call a "quick" skill. If you have any desire to raise your level, it's best to just work on it gradually, while you achieve other goals. At your level, you wouldn't really need to follow an extensive Farming regimen. Even just growing herbs would be good, both in terms of EXP and money (if you chose not to use them yourself). Aside from that, chipping away at quests you haven't done might be enjoyable.
