Beautiful entry. Thank you for writing it. I have a lot of the same feelings about this place and about that period of my life. Like yourself, I was very alone in high school, but I found some amazing friends here. I am awed at the kind of impact that a little forum like this can have, and there are millions more around the world that have had their lives profoundly changed because of the friends they were able to make on the internet. We weren't exactly in the same circles of friends, and you may not even remember my name, but I wish you all the best. The same goes for anybody else that may be reading this.

Apparently if your friend shows a complete lack of respect towards your boyfriend, posts pictures of your boyfriend on the internet intending to humiliate you, and attacks you it's okay because they just missed spending time with you and that's totally a sane thing to do. It's no wonder I don't have any friends, my standards are clearly set too high.
