Yrsa: She can be found in her clothes shop in Rellekka. Advisor Ghrim: He can be found in the throne room on Miscellania. Easy Tasks Requirements Required Skills: Low Combat skills, 10 Slayer, 4 Summoning Required Quests: Required Items: Small Fishing Net or Fishing Rod and 1 Fishing Bait Recommended Items: Weapon and Armour, Games Necklace with at least one charge, Lyre with a few charges Map of Locations The Tasks Quickest Method to Complete: 9 - 8 - 10 - 1 - 6 - 2 - 3 - 7 - 4 - 5 1. Kill a Cave Crawler in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon. For this task, you are going to be heading to the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon. The dungeon can be found to the east of Rellekka, and to the northeast of Seers' Village. To kill the cave crawler, be sure you have 10 slayer. If you need more than that, check out the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon guide or the map in it. Once you arrive at the dungeon, head just west. There you will see cave crawlers roaming about. Kill one of them to complete the task. Remember to bring an Anti-Poison or to use the Protect From Melee prayer because they have a very strong poison if they deal damage to you. 2. Kill five Rock Crabs on the shore near Rellekka or on Waterbirth Island. You don't really need any combat gear for this, but bring some along if you are a very low level. Rock Crabs are level 13. Travel to either of these location, although the shores of Rellekka will be easier to reach, and kill five of the monsters. 3. Find the highest tree on the Fremennik mainland. Starting from near the entrance to Rellekka, travel east all the way until the mountains, and then follow the edge of the mountains north until you come near the shore. Just south of the shoreline, there should be a path that you can walk up. It is covered in snow. Follow this path and then turn north to come to a big tree. Your diary will update. 4. View the rewards in the Barbarian Assault tutorial. The easiest way to get to Barbarian Assault is by teleporting with a Games Necklace. Teleport to the "Barbarian Outpost". You can also walk north from Ardougne or take the Agility shortcut in the northeast corner of the Gnome Stronghold. Once there, look at the scoreboard located in the large building. 5. Speak to Otto Godblessed about barbarian training. Otto Godblessed is located southwest of the Barbarian Outpost. Use one of the methods mentioned in the previous task to get there, and then simply walk southeast until you come to his house. It is on the west side of a small lake. Speak to him and ask him about special Barbarian Training to complete this task. 6. Collect three Seaweed from the shore north-east of Rellekka. 7. Find the Hunting Expert on the northern ice plains. 8. Catch a fish off one of the Rellekka's piers. 9. Recharge your Summoning points near Rellekka's gate. 10. Kill an adult Black Unicorn. The Path Of Freewill

Table of Contents Welcome to the Path Who I Am My Stats and My Bank The Free-Play Triumvirate Most Recent Achievement Goals and Major Achievements Skill-by-Skill Levels My Submissions Great Logs to Visit Do You Believe? Thanks For Reading by Rush. Myself as an Avatar in RuneScape I began playing RuneScape II during the summer break between eighth grade and my freshman year of high school. A friend, who has long since retired and gone on to bigger and better things, showed me one afternoon, and off we go. However, I have taken many multiple-month-long breaks during the four and a half years that this account has existed. 'Helk455' is indeed the first account I created, and I have stuck with him since the beginning. I have never truly seen the point in paying large sums of money to be a member, I much prefer paying for a few months at a time. As of February first, 2009, Helk455 has been a paying member for a combined total of six months; January and February of 2007, January and February of 2008, and December and January of 2009. This means of course that the majority of my time playing this game has been spent in free-play, and it is very dear to my heart. When it comes to goals, I seek equality and balance over spiking a few skills and leaving the rest out to dry. One could say that I prefer quantity over quality :D My skills reflect this pretty well, I have very few skills that are very high, but all of my skills are at least at the level one could consider decent. I have never deluded myself with the concept of obtaining a skill cape, wasting that much time on something that would seem so anti-climactic seems rather pointless to me. Instead, I just aim to get my lowest skills higher, and to raise my higher skills a little bit when I feel like it. My Stats and My Bank My Stats In the Beginning - 2/1/09 This image will not update The Latest and Greatest Monthly Check-Ins April 1st 2009 March 1st 2009 My Bank April 1st 2009 March 1st 2009 January 30th 2009 The Free-Play Triumvirate The biggest Free-Play skill competition this side of Sal's Realm. Combat, Hybrid, and I are all great friends on RuneScape, so we've come up with an idea for a competition that will help us all drive to train our weaker skills and just in general give us a reason to get better. The Rules The rules are quite simple. At the beginning of each month (on the 1st), we will compare all of our Free-Play skills to see who has the highest level in each skill. Then, we will tally up the number of skills that each of dominates, and announce a winner. If there is a tie, it will go to the Free-Play total level. The only prize for this winning is the title of Free-Play Triumvirate Champion for a month. The Winners' Log March 2009 First Place: Combat - 8 Skills Second Place: Freewill - 4 Skills Third Place: Hybrid - 3 Skills February 2009 First Place: Combat - 7 Skills Second Place: Freewill - 5 Skills Third Place: Hybrid - 3 Skills Most Recent Achievement 82 Attack Goals and Major Achievements Major Achievements November 17th, 2007 - All Free-Play Skills 40+ This is really about the time that I decided I was more interested in equality than a few really strong skills. Up until then, most of my stats were around 50 to 60, but a few skills that I really did not like, namely Ranged and Runecraft, were very low, below 30. I decided to pick it up and grabbed this achievement in a few weeks after deciding to go for it. It is not that major, but it was a real turning point in this account. December 25th, 2008 - All Skills 50+ After I became for a member for the third time, this time for yet another two months, I started working on averaging out my members skills. On Christmas day, 2008, I finally reached all skills to 50+. This shows yet more dedication to equality. December 25th, 2008 - 100 Free-Play Combat Look closely, and you might something familiar about that date :P Just a couple of hours after getting 50 Herblore and skills to 50 or above, I reached the final combat level I needed for 100 free-play combat, perhaps one of my biggest goals of all time. With this final combat level, I officially hung up my weapons and vowed to never train combat again. December 31st, 2008 - 1600 Total Levels Who does not like 100's? Nothing really extra super special about 1600, besides the fact that it is 100 more than 1500. Of note is the fact that I got the final level for this a few hours before the ball struck down in New York on New Years day. Another interesting thing: When I began my third period of members, I was under 1500 total, which means that in about a month, I got over 100 combined levels. February 16th, 2009 - 1100 Total Free-Play Levels This is when you can really tell that someone has an impressive Free-Play account. Obviously, since I've had some members time, this isn't as big as it could be, but it's still pretty big for me. I got this last level after a good five or six hours of straight Air crafting >.< April 11th, 2009 - All Free-Play Skills 60+ This is huge! I've finally reached a decent level in all of my Freeplay skills. At this point, I'd had all the other skills at 60+ already, but had never really spent any time to 60 Runecraft. After finally knocking it out, it felt good. Next up is all 70+! Goals Here they are, the heart and soul of a skill log. These are the levels that I will be training to achieve. Because I have surrendered the ability to train combat, there are only 9 skills in total that I can train. I can train the obvious Runecraft, Crafting, Mining, Smithing, Fishing, Cooking, Firemaking, and Woodcutting. However, I can also train Magic via High Alchemy and Teleports without any risk of raising my combat level; my melee stats are too high for Magic to matter. For the most part, I tried to make these goals not insanely difficult to complete. It gets pretty depressing when a log has been around for months and not a single goal has come to pass. Also, most of these goals are simply stepping stones to some of my more major objectives. These include 80 Woodcutting, 80 Firemaking, and 80 Mining. The date underneath each goal in progress was the date that it was announced, and the date underneath any completed goals is the date that it was completed on. I actually use Zybez.net 90% of the time. However, in the months of December and January of 2008 and 2009 respectively, Sal's Realm held a Database Drive to help get in a lot more submissions for all three of the databases. One afternoon, finding myself with nothing else to do, I decided to give it a shot. In about two to three hours, I submitted somewhere around ten to fifteen NPC's, taking the NPC database competition by storm. I was content after that day to ride that wave and see if I would win anything. However, about an hour before the competition closed, Hawk was on and submitting quite a few more NPC's, which started to make me uneasy. I dropped what I was doing (Pyramid Plunder I believe) and submitted another ten or so NPC's. This was enough to let me take the lead and come in first place, winning this: This was back before I changed my name, so it displays my previous name, Helk. Since then, I have embarked on a quest to submit every NPC, Monster, and item available in Free-Play. Below, I'll post all submissions that I make. However, I do not know how to make transparent images, so if someone is willing to make a few transparencies, simply follow the links below and you'll find the images. These are a few that I enjoy reading and keeping track of the owners' progress. Great job guys :P Note that the underlined headers are links to the topics. Magic of Woodcut's Log to 99 Hunter I've been good friends with MoW for a very long time, back to his old account Runedudemr. I hope he doesn't give up this goal, the money he can make will most likely keep him on it :P Hybrid's Log of a F2p I've only just recently met Hybrid, but when I saw his log, I knew I'd found a new friend. It takes real dedication to make a Free-Play log worth viewing (I know from personal experience :)) and he's done it. Desireful's Log to 99 Firemaking Desy is another good friend of mine. He really doesn't play as much as a lot of us, he's just too busy making these forums awesome. He's a member of the Database Kr3w, and also a very active poster all over the forums. Jacky's Log of Epic Free-Play Combat Jacky, like Strength, is another new friend of mine. I took one look at his stats and realized that what he was doing was near insane. The speed that he trains combat in Free-Play at is simply wrong. W1z K1ll1ng, the Noob in a Mage Cape This guy is the little noob with the Magic Cape you see running around. He's a great guy though, and what he does with Farming kinda scares me sometimes. Slow down a little please? :P Do You Believe? Of course you have no obligation to use this, but if you enjoyed reading my log, like the way this little banner looks, or just have no reason at all, put this in your signature :D The code below will make it link straight back to my log, so all you have to do is copy and paste :D [name=thank]Thanks For Reading If you're reading this, you deserve a standing ovation for reading my entire log Thank you for taking quite a few minutes out of your busy life to relax and see what I've been up to. I'll do my best to keep this log up to date, although it won't be an easy task. If you have the time, why not add to your post count and give me a little support, to let me know that all the work I put into this was worth it. Thank you, I will choose a path that's clear I will choose Freewill.

You'll never catch up if I'm also training it :P Thanks Tiger. Good luck with the Ice Giants Thanks Lalas I used this text and did 85 words a minute. Very good in my opinion :P I most definitely will try to steal your Smithing crown. This competition is the only reason I'm training it so much. Thanks Jacky  70's is pretty good. Thanks Rizzo. Thanks Hybrid :P Thanks Stormer :) Nope. It's referring to a very awesome song. Thanks Skrums :D Thanks Luke :P It probably is. :D ------------- Secret Message(s): "Felipe Calderon told me to tell you that he would be more than happy to help someone in the U.S. Felipe Calderon also told me to tell you that whatever he said was all a bluff. He is taking action as we speak to destroy the English military force." ^Think critically. "Don't give up, if you do give up, don't bluff." Jesus, you're confusing. Unfortunately, you've been booted from the triumvirate. We've let Luke take your spot Sorry Hybrid, but thanks. We might expand to a foursome when you return. My Two Cents Nothing new really. Classes are wrapping up soon, and then my summer gets to go to hell. Just some forewarning, I'll be out of town or busy for most of the summer. Luke has replaced Hybrid in the Triumvirate. Hopefully he'll provide some interesting competition. RuneScape 82 Attack :D Also 102 Combat. I'm really feeling a combat spree. I think I'll probably knock out another Attack level, maybe two. About 250k to 83 Attack. Boring old week :P - Faithless -

:D You'll be happy now. There's a present at the bottom. That sucks, and thank you Tiger :P Inorite. As far as I can tell, I put the most effort into my log entries. It's basically a blog that's related to RuneScape :P I have no clue what you're talking about with the screenies, but awesome. July 15th is the day to remember. TL;DR? What does that mean? Thanks Earth :P Tkoe for life. Jesus, you put loads of detail into your posts. Hope to see another Smithing level soon. :P Shyne > Tkoe. I don't even know what Tkoe is. The Knights of something. Never heard a more cliche name though. I enjoy writing. That entry was 566 words long, not counting the replies. Ok... Thanks Sub :) My Two Cents First up is Mario Kart. Knocked out two more 50cc cups at one star or above. Two to go and then I get another character. I haven't done any online since last time. RuneScape Finally done smelting for a while. Up next is Smithing the excess bars (which won't get me a level) and then 82 Attack most likely. - Faithless -

:) I'm failing at it. I really am not trying though, I just want to knock out this Smithing. Congratz Luke. Truly Gogs, that Hide n' Seek event was amazing. It brought back the good times of RS. Haven't had that much fun in a very long time. :P Thanks Stormer. Welcome, hope you'll stay active. We always can do with expansion. Thanks Hybrid :D Secret Message: "You are inactive :P" Inorite. I love bikes, I take super fast in straightaways over the Super Mini Turbo. Switching back and forth is really hard though. The drifting is so much different. Sorry :P Thanks Luke :D :D Thanks Earth. Gf on my record, you were only 15 seconds off :P Thanks Holl. Secret Message: "It freaking better." :P I love it. Read below for details. Neva!!!!! Thou shalt all bow. Thanks Lupin :P My Two Cents This is gonna be a long one. First up, sorry for the time between entries. I've been too busy to write one. Next, I guess we'll cover Mario Kart. The other day I decided that if I really wanted to be good, I'd have to get all of the real good bikes and karts. You can't do anything if you're slower than everyone else. I google'd a list of how to unlock all the bikes, karts, and characters, and set off to unlock them. I knocked out a bunch of the ones related to Time Trials, I think I've unlocked 20 or so Fast Staff Ghosts (beat the regular staff ghost by 7 seconds). I'm doing alright. Still have four gold medals to go. I did two more online matches, I'm up around 5400 rating now. I'll get up there eventually. On to my name change. A pact was written a few months ago between myself and Sir_Beck4 / The Spirit of Radio / Working Man (currently). Both of us are huge Rush fans, so we agreed that undisclosed times we would change our names to a different Rush song. I was supposed to be Tom Sawyer, but opted for Faithless instead, allowing me to keep my F avatar. We're not trying to start a fad. Actually, I'd be rather p/o'ed if people started naming themselves after songs. We just love Rush. Finally, on to Shyne. Firstly, I've stopped trying in the skill competition. I opted to go Smith, which is absolutely terrible xp. I'm currently third from last to Hybrid (who has gone inactive) and Ej_ (who never plays). I'm a beast. On Sunday, shortly before lunch central time, Shyne hosted a Hide n' Seek event. This was perhaps the most fun I've had in RuneScape in an extremely long time. Great job Gogs, and you're welcome for the planning help. The original plan was to do it all in Falador. After two fun matches, the second of which I was hiding and lasted a whopping 9 minutes and 57 seconds, we decided to mess everyone up and head to Varrock (my idea :P). We did one more normal match, giving everyone attending a chance to hide, and then we did a match with the three winners thus far hiding. Lupin won the first Falador match, I won the second, and Earth won the third match, in Varrock. Earth went down early. About 10 seconds after they found Lupin, Donhambruna found me. Extremely close. So I emerged the overall champion :P I also had the best time, with Earth coming within about 15 seconds of me on the first Varrock match. Great fun all. I really enjoyed it. If you read that, congratz :P RuneScape After 81 Attack, I scratched any plans for the Skill Competition and went back to Smithing. After running the numbers, I discovered that Steel was better in the long run than Mithril, so I went with Steel. I currently have about 900 Steel bars to make for 65 Smithing. I'll then sell all but 650 of those bars to break even and smith those 650. I really can't say when I'll get 65, maybe Wednesday or Thursday. Sorry for the extremely long entry with no achievement at the end :P Thanks for reading all, I still cling to hope And I believe in love And that's faith enough for me

:) Thanks for the support. Good luck with your log. Maybe. I dunno. It's irrelevant. Thanks Eartheh. :P Thanks Storm. I did not fail, it just took a little longer than I thought. I made every bit of it. Thanks Jacky. I've given up on that competition. I'm gonna go do more Smithing. I got it :D Thanks Skrums. I hope for your own sake that wasn't some terrible allusion to bumping my log. If it wasn't, I have no clue what that meant. Thanks W1z :D :P Thanks Reno. Go beat Chris. Yes you have. Every time you talk to me. Every time. My Two Cents I'm gonna have to start making a separate section for Mario Kart No more gold medals, but I did race with Desy and Thunder (separately) over the past few days. I've beaten Thunder 11 of the 13 races we've done, and Desy 3 of the 8. Desy's good. Especially since he's got all the crazy good karts and bikes and stuff. I'm really slow compared to him :P I also raced online for the first time. My ratings up about 250, which isn't that much. Once I've beaten all the cups with gold, I'm bent on getting that up. RuneScape I decided not to really put that much effort into the Skill Competition effort on Shyne. You can find the rankings here. I did get that Attack level. Next up is Smithing. I plan to do this set with Mithril instead of Steel. It should be more profitable, which means I can sell a smaller percent to break even in profit, which in turn means that I can smith more bars into alch'able items. - Freewill -
