Predictions are part of the skill too -- being able to expect the unexpected is a HUGE part of merchanting. It's not the kind of skill where grinding hours away at it makes you a bit better, it's the sort where you learn the basics, spend time observing and assimilating the different things in your head, and then you are better. Merchanting is a skill. No way can it be considered luck -- since we control the market (to a great deal, let's not get into that now), it's about knowing how your fellow players will react to something. All skill. There's no luck involved; luck is what you call it when it's unexplainable. Everything that happens on the GX happens for a reason, and therefore, it's a skill that involves reading other players' reactions. I had a bunch of normal bones pre-summoning update. After it, I sold them for incredibly inflated prices. That's not luck at all nope. Sure you could speculate that summoning may require bones, but in the end, 'skills' can't predict some changes. You buy X amount of Y, Smith over there decides to randomly dump 10X amount of Y on GE right after you buy them. That's not luck at all. You just didn't have enough 'skills' to read Smith's mind. Merchanting is a combination of luck and skills. Knowing market conditions of items can only take you so far until luck decides to swing against/for you.

How To Be A Ranger With 2h Sword Pker!
oh bum replied to misshotty230's topic in PvP: Skills, Tips 'n' Kills
No, it is Range level * 1.5 = attack level + strength level. i.e. range(60)*1.5 = attack(40) + strength(50). So it isn't always 5 levels higher. Unless of course you want less than optimal stats. Most likely he meant pvp worlds, i.e. pking everywhere, or at least close to everywhere, on that world. -
It would honestly not matter. At that level, regardless of paladin spec, things will be slow if grinding alone. Beret: Levelling is all about focus, a good devised levelling plan and spending time following it, not really harder then that. Got my priest to level 70 and currently gearing it up, intending to boost up a melee DPS towards 70 before Wrath hits retail as well and leave it barren for now, but I'll see. I'm much more interested gearing my priest up then i'm at another month of grinding towards 70. :) Eh I don't know much about paladins. Always thought ret was the leveling spec because its for dps. But then again, I'm looking at it from a 70. imo I found leveling a pally as ret alright. rank 1 soc, cs/hoj spam and watch some movie in the background. It is probably a slower than some other classes and incredibly boring but tbh if you can't take that bit extra, not worth playing.

Unless the report system is completely electronic, or the people handling reports are incredibly lazy and stupid enough to not look at what the guy said in the first place, they shouldn't get black marks/banned etc.
-
Spit it out, what is the point of swallowing? It isn't very tasty. Though I haven't had gum in a long time..
-
Yes, you should be able to 'bank' your honor. It would be terribly unfair to people who did not buy wotk and lost all their honor, I am pretty sure I kept the honor I had from the transition to bc. But if you think about it, you can only get a few pieces because of the honor cap.

Um, all of the sets have the same amount of sockets except for tier 6 - but that is only because it has 8 pieces.. Unless you are referring to tier 0-3 and season 1 arena gear. In which case it is because tier 0-3 are Pre TBC. Rating gear by the number of sockets it has is just plain stupidity. Yes but he said that tier gear has no sockets compared to arena gear. I wasn't replying to the 'arena ones are much better'.

Runescape Is In It's Shining Glory Days...

Read the posts above. Not below, above. That is like me going on another site and linking the topic here as the source =\ I was going to mention that as well, the amount measured there is how many subscribers to wow compared with active characters on rs. If you had member subscriptions, it would be a lot lower. A more accurate representation would be. Source: http://www.mmogchart.com/ Judging by that, there are around 1.2-1.3 million members - still a substantial amount but tbh they need a long way to go before anyone should even begin comparing rs with wow. I know that market share doesn't represent how popular it is, but at the end of the day, it is how much money it is bringing in, they couldn't care less if it was incredibly 'popular' but bought no money in. But still, jagex being a much smaller company has made rs grow heaps, what they have done with a java, browser based game is pretty incredible. -

Fail to see that 50+% of wow subscribers are from Asia. But I'd like to see source anyway. -
Nah, the stats on it aren't high enough. It is probably just a bug, because there are still the same stats as the normal felheart chest.

If your a pvp person, go resto and get resto gear, and dominate arenas with a MS warrior. If you plan to pve, decide if you are going to heal (resto) or dps/tank (feral). Then start doing normal 70 instances for gear, money, and rep. When your rep is high enough. grab the keys for the heroics and start doing those for gear and badges. Save the badges for the badge vendor (the one in Shattrath and the one in Isle). When you meet the requirements for kara (I don't know what the requirements is for your class, look around), start raiding with a raiding guild. Regardless of what you do, make an arena team as soon as you hit 70 and play 10 games, just so you can get points every week. And try to do daily pvp quest, daily heroic. Look up pieces that you want/need to get for pvp/pve and then run the instances to get them. Then you can either run more instances/grind honor. It is still pretty much like leveling until you get some decent gear to arena properly/pve.

To kite something is when you attack something at a distance, using ranged attacks/spells and running away when it is in range of you. I am not sure how you can kite a dragon to xroads and make it stay there though..
