Mostly just exploring for its own sake. I usually dress in street clothes (like my profile pic). When doing easy quests, I'll put on my wizzy robes and fill my backpack with runes. When fighting bosses, I'll don my rune armor, shield, and longsword and have at them.
If RS was a real place, I'd live in Draynor. I'm a "night" person, and it's always nighttime in Draynor. It's one of the few small villages that has a bank and a small farmer's market at the end of that short street. The neighbors are all friendly, and it seems like a nice little community to live in. It's a short walk to the mall (GE) and to culture (the Varrock museum), and Port Sarim is just a short walk away over the fence when I'm in the mood to travel. As for the vampire, well, I'm not afraid of any steenking vampire, bleh!

Tips for beating Elvarg F2P with low combat level?
Fredashay replied to Nia's question in RuneScape Questions
If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you. If you're mean to someone when that person has given you no reason to be so, I'll call you what you are. -
Okay everyone, get ready with your down-votes because I have another question... I have one of those treasure chests from Carnillean Rising, as I'm sure many of you do too. It's been sitting in my bank since I finished the quest because I don't know exactly how it works or what to do with it. Yes, I know you can bury it to host your own private treasure hunt. But that's all. I'd like to put a small prize in it and bury it. But how can anyone else open it if I have to set a pin on it or give keys out. That kind'a defeats the purpose, doesn't it? If I bury it one a given world, does it exist on all worlds, or just the world I buried it on? Will it stay buried in that spot forever, and ever, and ever? And how do other people find it, let alone even know one is buried somewhere? Another thing I'm concerned about is that I don't want to start announcing a treasure hunt. I'm 99% certain that some scammer will turn this thing into a scam sooner or later. I can just picture all the scammers at the GE shouting out, "Hosting Treasure Chest hunt! Legit!" And I don't want to be associated with that. Now, I don't want to be like that idiot who says, "I only want the nice people to answer my question." (though I'm beginning to understand why he says that everywhere). But please, if you don't have anything nice or helpful to say in reply, then please pass my question over.

Well, I'm just asking if it's possible! Jeez! Why are some people are so nasty here that you can't even ask a reasonable question???

Follow up to my previous answer... Go here http://runescape.wik...i/Dragon_Slayer and scroll down to The Fight (about 2/3rds the way down the page). Read the 3rd bullet line. What I said in my previous answer is true! So you noobs who gave my answer a -3, you're a bunch of morons! -
The only purpose it serves is to let the old timers do poo poo on the noobs!!!

How many resources have you gathered this week?

I think the Combine does a pretty good job of managing the Citadel (at least until Gordon and Alyx blew it up). -
Ultimate Game Card Scam/Technical Difficulties?
Fredashay replied to Chamadar's question in RuneScape Questions
A $20 card is for 3 month's membership. A one month card is about $7. If you bought a one-month card for $20, the store ripped you off. And on top of that, if the pin was already used, the store sold you a used card. Was the pin scratched off the back? Of course, it might not have been the store's fault. Someone could have scratched off the card in the store, wrote down the pin, then put the card back on the display. The world is full of nasty dishonest people in real life, not just on the internet, you gotta check these things... -
I'm undecided between Boxxy and Vermin Supreme...

Tips for beating Elvarg F2P with low combat level?
Fredashay replied to Nia's question in RuneScape Questions
Then defeating Elvarg is gonna be very difficult for you (I took her on at about your level and got my @$$ handed to me, so I'm just going by my experience. Your mileage may vary, lol). If my experience is any guide, then you won't last 2 seconds against Elvarg (but that's just my experience). But like I said earlier, if you can dance around quick and avoid her fire breath, you might get lucky. Go ahead and try. I can't swear that this is true, okay, but I think I heard somewhere that you can attack her and leave the fight and go back later (on the same world) and continue the fight and she'll be at the same damage level (assuming nobody else kills her in the meantime). Apparently, a bunch people don't think this is true. Okay. I thought I heard that somewhere. As for me, I slew her in one go (after waiting a few months for my combat level to increase before I tried again--with an anti-dragon shield and several anti-dragonfire pots), so I denno if the above is true or not. -

I waited until I was combat level 50 before I even tried to take on Elvarg. I suppose if you equip your anti-dragonfire shield and bring several anti-dragonbreath pots, you'll at least be immune from her fire breath for as long as your pots last. If you have the patience and dexterity (I mean real world dexterity with your mouse, not character agility) to dance around her, I suppose it's doable. But at level 25, it's gonna take a while. So bring lots of food. -
Actually, that's not 100% true. There was once a bank robbery in Draynor, but it was staged between NPCs, not by a player. Yes. it was a serious question. With the locked gates in all the banks, it seemed reasonable to assume that it's possible to rob a bank with high enough thieving level (or at least they had planned to allow it, but then changed their minds because it might wreck the economy).

Yes. I just started noticing this, too. The bears leg motion used to be animated when they walked. But not any more. Some new glitch, I s'pose.

Weird and wacky things in runescape
Fredashay replied to Thydol's topic in General RuneScape Discussion
All female characters have dark eyeliner around their eyes (whether they want it or not), but there's not a single store that sells makeup or other female products. -
In various banks across Runescape, there are vast treasures stored behind locked gates. Is this just for show? Or can a player with a high enough thieving level break into these rooms and rob the banks? (I've been able to get a couple of trinkets from the basement of the main branch in Varrock with TG, but it's hardly worth the cost of runes.)

One thing I would do right now is to either mandate (or at least put tax incentives in place) that all roofs and road surfaces be white (mix a white pigment into the asphalt) to reflect more heat energy back into space. Denno if this will have a huge effect, but it'll help.
