It'll be ultimately pointless, but I plan to revive my blog and a skill log here. So there will at least be an old madman still raving about the good old times.

I wish I knew, I was certainly trying to be extra careful but it still happened.

I’m not saying you’re wrong Yuan, it’s very likely a combination of some impatience while pressing buttons, and bad timing when it happens; but it can’t be dismissed as just that.

I’ve never been banned anywhere else for having an “impatient” style of interaction with websites or forums. I’ve used Sal’s for considerably over a decade before I began getting IP banned.

I know after my previous experience I should have been more careful too, so part of it is on me, but I still remain tremendously confused about what is it I did this time.

The previous occurrence was very clear and straightforward: I was trying to post a status and the forums froze. So I made the mistake of pressing the post button a dozen times. Fair enough, lesson learned.

This time however I made no such mistake again. I struggled a bit with image uploads, but the entry saved, and I was able to begin writing another different entry. Then it froze, and when I refreshed the page I was banned again (which explains why it froze).

This is most definitely not normal, and I accept fully the responsibility for triggering the auto-ban as maybe being more “impatient” than most while interacting with the forums (even though it’s the first time I’ve ever had issues with such thing), but hopefully there’s something that can be done with the forums / website to relax the sensitivity of the detection system.

I have indeed been banned again (thank you Zooey and Adam? for writing about it here).

I’m using my phone to write now with my mobile data, but it severely limits what I can do unfortunately.

I hope it’ll be possible to fix this, as it is the forum’s cloudfire seems to be way too sensitive.

I’m unsure of what caused it, I was preparing some blog entries to have a few ready for the next couple days, and after finishing & saving the first one, I got banned again as I tried to begin writing a second entry.

I'm not sure that's a bad thing Sobend, from what I remember you were a fine chap. It was a pleasure working with you.

Hey Sobend and Fatalysm! How have you been?

Not too dissimilar, although I suspect your hard work got you there faster. 
I had some 'meh' years trying to figure out what to do with my life, but eventually I got a decent job with people I like working with and consider friends. It allowed me to save money and travel, something I always loved doing, visiting new countries and making new friends. Eventually I met my Greek fiancé, lived outside my birth country (and comfort zone) and am now back home with a fiancé and ready to settle down for good. I actually received Fatalysm's email at a point I'm reorganizing my life, having some vacations while waiting to get back to work.
It's really nice to hear success stories from people I used to see almost everyday in these forums, even if we never quite interacted with each other too much, that feelings we've known each other from childhood nevers disappears.

I watched the match inside the MEO Arena, right before a Rod Steward concert. I was away for maybe 30 minutes of the match when I went to the bathroom and to buy popcorn plus drinks, but for the parts I've seen Portugal dominated the match, and the statistic at the end confirm it. Not to say Wales didn't play well, but taking into account what happened during the match I highly doubt there could have been any winner other than us. I'm not very satisfied with the overall performanc...
