I've made my decision. I'll be going somewhere far away and I won't be back. Well, if things work out the way they are supposed to, that is. Thank you for all of the memories. I enjoyed my time on this site. Honorable mentions: Wiltingplant--for being there for me when I needed you, despite the fact that the topic at hand wasn't always a comfortable one. El Benno--PASTA! Good memories. Vogrinjr--I bid you adieu, my faithful slave. Newbownage/Xxrunezxx--although you don't come here anymore, we had fun times PKing. Eberk--super skiller; had a blast competing with you when you were f2p. Queen Missy--you don't come here anymore, but I feel like this is a good place to include you. World 62 buddy! 1800151100/Sketchy--you guys are gone, too, but we had fun hanging out (Xmas events were great!!). And leet times in Fear, Sketchy. Yuan--we stopped talking long ago, but I've always respected you. Keep on truckin'. Co-Z--lolVera. If you ever see this (although I doubt it since you're banned), I actually tried playing WoW!!! I quit after like 4 months and really only played for 2, but it's not a bad game. Hexias--HATEBREEDS. Fraff--I miss stalking you on RS. Bcloutier--don't know if you're still f2p, but had fun times RCing with ya. Jgingrey--you disappeared?? Where art thou?? Sneezingtree--I will always remember you as p2p ownage. Neko--Take me to japan. Novemberain0 (don't know your name here now)--we chatted all the time. Had some great moments. Metalkon--Blue party hat remembrance. Pinky--made RS slightly more interesting with our convos. ;) JustJoshin--same as above. ;) Nicole/Lilmessedkid--thank you for trying to get my spirits up. Common Sense--f2p memories!! Fini--Mexican I hope I haven't forgotten anyone. And, of course, everyone else on this forum + Sal's CC. Fin.

Grave of the Fireflies is probably my number one Ghibli film. NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind and Princess Mononoke are very close seconds. I remember watching Lain as a kid and I had no idea what the hell was happening, lol. The same goes for Boogiepop Phantom.

I finished reading A Princess of Landover by Terry Brooks several weeks ago. Next up is probably going to be The Gypsy Morph by the same author. It's been on my to-read list for ages, but every time I try searching for it in nearby libraries it's always checked out or not available. Three cheers for the fantasy genre! Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong has also piqued my interest. I started playing Dynasty Warriors again and it renewed my interest in the novel (really fascinating stuff). I think I'll end up buying a copy.

I think it's time to blow this scene. Get everybody and their stuff together. Ok, 3... 2... 1... Let's jam! Tank! is such a catchy song.

Potential Education: 5 years in college (2 years for prereqs/general requirements + 3 years for program); Bachelor's in Health Science via Radiation Therapy option. Potential Job: Radiation Therapist. Why? Still uncertain as to whether or not I want to pursue this career, but I figure I'll just go with it since I was just accepted into the program. It's a stable job and being able to help cancer patients is always a plus.

Samurai Champloo is awesome. Shinchiro Watanabe knows how to keep you entertained. Some of his other work I enjoyed include Cowboy Bebop and Michiko to Hatchin.

Final Fantasy X: At Zanarkand Kingdom Hearts II: One-Winged Angel (originally from FFVII)

I am not straight by any means whatsoever, but I'd let Keira Knightley have her way with me any day of the week.

Yeah! Kuroshisuji 2! I've been waiting forever for it to finally come out. Loved the first season. Other series I'll end up trying out: Shi Ki-- read the description + watched the trailer and the first thing that came to mind was Higurashi. Willing to give it a try, though. Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin--sounds interesting enough. I like supernatural stuff. The Legend of the Legendary Heroes--everything about it tells me not to watch it, but knowing me I will anyway for the mindless action. Highschool of the Dead--see above. I completely forgot about Yakitate. I should go back to watching it.

Also, in SMT: Persona 4, you get to fight a boss who straddles a pole the entire time. Best WTF moment ever. Obvious spoiler alert:

Just my top 3 for now: Final Fantasy X - love it. Voice acting is top-notch, and the mind-blowing music only adds to the deeply engrossing story. Typical turn-based battle system--which I enjoy--along with the Sphere Grid customization system. And Blitzball is surprisingly addicting. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 - combines a high school simulation with a dungeon crawling experience. Certainly a unique concept that is pulled off exceptionally well. Voice acting is really, really good (Junpei/Yukari/Mitsuru get honorable mentions) and the upbeat J-pop soundtrack fits the settings well. The story is pretty dark (like with all MegaTen games), but it's balanced out by the humor and typical ambience of the game. I really liked the battle system too, which is turn-based, but you get to fuse your own "personas"--which the creators base on various mythological sources which is a nice touch. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 - unrelated to Persona 3 story-wise, but the premise is the same (high school simulation + dungeon crawling). This game is a lot more polished than its previous installment; it definitely has its perks. I liked the improved battle system, and the fact that you get to control all of your characters manually unlike Persona 3. The story is good, but definitely not as engrossing as its predecessor, IMO. But P4 bosses and dungeons are definitely a lot more fun and interesting (a certain boss who humps a stripper pole comes to mind)...

Nice! Finally hit that 99, huh? When did you start playing again!?
-
Agreed. With regard to Requiem, I was sort of expecting something like that to happen at the end, but I didn't like how out of the blue it was at the very last moment... The plot twist to Angel Beats! completely caught me off guard, though--and not in a good way. But from what I've read on some sites, a lot of people actually liked the ending. *shrugs*

SMT: Nocturne. **** you Matador. Red Capote (4x dodge rate) + Andalucia (multi-hit physical attack) = PARTY KO. Died a billion times to this guy until I found a strategy that required me to grind massive amounts in order to fuse a particular demon... Does not help that this boss is pretty much at the beginning of the game either.

I don't normally watch a lot of T.V., but Dead Like Me is one of my favorite shows. I also started watching Pushing Daisies recently and I'm enjoying that immensely, too. I'm a fan of dark comedies--and the occasional sci-fi program (i.e. The 4400).
