Yes, mark the date. Tomorrow, August 3rd 2011, is a very special day.

After nine, agonising months of waiting, questions, confusion and expense. Nine months of planning, preparation and anxiety.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, after 9 long months, it gives me great pleasure, to announce to each and every one of you that tomorrow, August 3rd 2011, I, for the first time in my life, am attending an Iron Maiden concert :)

Iron Maiden have been my all time favourite band since around the age of 8, and it's always been one of my bigger desires in life to go and see them live in concert. I was originally going to their "Somewhere back in time" tour in Twickenham a few years back, but a holiday to America co-incided, so I didn't go.

Tomorrow I'm finally getting my chance to see them in the Odyssey Arena, Belfast, and have rarely been so excited in my life.

I'll blog again about it tomorrow night probably, maybe include a couple of pictures, depending on how close I can fight my way to the front.
I shall take no prisoners, for, tomorrow truly is, The Final Frontier.

Feel free to take pity on me since Dragonforce are supporting though :)

So, I'm not really much of a dungeoneer, but I finally started to enjoy it a little and so have started up again, reaching level 100 a few days back.

I've also never really seen a hexhunter bow in action, but know they're coveted and pretty damn rare.
So, when I got one on my first ever soulgazer, I was mighty surprised, and quickly bound it as my third bind.

And, my God, does it own. I didn't know if it was any good, but it's freaking epic Love it.

Also notice the doomcore staff in that picture, in my inventory, from the room before. I don't know if they're any good, and I didn't get a chance to use it, but they're also pretty rare apparently so it was cool to get both in one dungeon.

    For laptop arrived today.

After much excited whooping when I received the box, I had to spend 15 minutes trying to figure out how to open it.

After I finally got it open I took it out the box to find it in pieces. DIY cooling pad.

    Okay? Okay.

So I began assembling it, making a mountain out of a molehill, literally, you clip the three fans where you want them, plug in the usb to the laptop and clip on the speed control to the pad, that took me a further 20 mins to figure out.

Then I couldn't figure out if they were on or not, as I couldn't hear them at full power.

Common Sense, I am lacking it.

Far more hastle than it was worth.
Had one of the single weirdest dreams that I can think of in I don't know how long.

My dream took on a combination of Assassin's Creed, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, on top of a syfy channel documentary about a haunted forest with a perfectly circular clearing I saw yesterday.

You'd think, with three of the most intricate and action packed plots being combined I could do a little better than I did...

Me and some of the assassin's were in a perfectly circular clearing, when all of a sudden, *BAM*...

Lord Voldemort and his death eaters appeared, so we scattered round the outskirts of the clearing, battling in and out of the trees.
I then joined in a duel with 4 assassin's (who now had wands) to attack Voldemort, but after about a minute of yelling Expelliarmus! and Arvada Kerdava! I discovered that my wand was actually a sparkler.

So, after this somewhat momentum de-railing discovery, the Assassin's sent me into the clearing to look for the apple of Eden, which I found! But, shortly after finding it, it became night, and we decided to take a sleep for the night rather than continue in the night.

When I woke up, the Sorting Hat with the sword of Griffindor was lying beside me, victory was now surely mine!
Then, friggin Pippin and Merry appeared beside me, and exclaimed "Mordor!", at this point we got a panning view of an intricate gate to someone's estate with a giant "M" in the middle of it, (standing for Mordor!).

Then to be friggin' continued appeared across my vision...
Apparently my dream is to be continued :P

More on this story, as it unfolds.

    R. B. Rebecca Black!

Apparently this is her moment. A fact she remind me of a few hundred times :)

I finally got off my lazy butt, after around a year of putting up with an overheating laptop and got myself a can of compressed air.
I waited and cleaned out the fan in my laptop, and by god, it's miraculous.

I've had the laptop turned on for over an hour now, by this point you'd usually be able to fry eggs on it, it's still nice and cool!
The fan is almost silent, and it's running a lot faster and smoother.

Now all I need is my new cooling pad to arrive and I may have a useable machine once more

Bought my VIP ticket to Runefest 2011 yesterday, with huge thanks to Jiblix for giving me his pre-sale code and allowing me to make sure I got what I wanted :glasses:

All that's left now is to book the flight and I'm good to go :)

So, it's been a while since I've made a blog, but I've really not had a lot to talk about, until now that is. My runescape name is Low Ki, not to be confused with Locke or Loki (sp on both), the rapper and God.

I chose my name after a wrestler, this wrestler to be specific.

After exiting WWE on December 24th he has not been on my television, which was disappointing as I'd recently chosen his ring name as my Runescape name. After holding tight for 6 months, he finally returned to my TV on TNA Wrestling, in a match to earn a spot on Pay-Per-View, which he won, to my delight!

The winner of the match on the pay-per-view would win a contract at TNA, so I decided I'd have to watch it live to see Low Ki, the first time I've ever stayed up until 4am to see TNA.

I've just watched his match, and for, whatever reason, they chose to have Low Ki pinned to a just over 40-year old man.

Absolutely furious, that they decided to re-hire a washed up, undeniably less mobile man over Low Ki.

Born at around 5:30 AM on Wednesday the 22nd June, 6pounds 4 ounces called Nathan :D

Sadly he lives in England with the rest of my family, but we're going there for two weeks in the morning, hopefully I'll get to visit him while we're there :)

You make me hot and then cold
    Yes and then no
    In and then out
    Up and then Down
    Wrong and then Right
    Black and then White
    All in five mins ;_;

Finished my last exam today, French, lasting 1:30-5PM, was a bit long, but oh well, last ever French exam I'm sitting (hopeful lack of repeats withstanding).

Reading was strange, had a comprehension about addiction to suntanning that referred to UV rays as a drug, a listening paper about Church Bells and a translation about someone's iPhone screen exploding and blinding their right eye.
    All in all went okay.

Got to go to work for 2 hours tomorrow then I'm off for 2 weeks, going on holiday to Wales for a week and England for a week with family, then off to Mexico in August with my dad. >.<

Had a pretty awful exam today, to say the least.
Went in and absolutely mind spasm'd, looked at the blank page and panicked. Looking at it now I find it quite funny as that's the only time I've ever had it to me, and my English teacher for that module is the only teacher who has ever given us practice on conquering our fear of the blank page -.-

Both essays had to be written about women and their representation in the 1920s (novel), and in the second essay in two poems written in the '60s and '80s. What made it even worse was you had to actually argue why they deserved freedom from men. V difficult indeed. But after panicking a little I've been re-assured by my teachers after quoting some of my essays that I did in fact hit the buzz words needed and should get some marks for contextual references if nothing else.

Final exam tomorrow, French, lasting ~3 hours, then school's out for summer. Work tomorrow and Saturday then finished that too for 2 weeks.

Looking forward to the 3 month break at last :D

So, I'm really out of things to blog about, I've been on study leave for 3 weeks now and my exams end on Friday.
I have to say, I really hate study leave, I'd much rather be in school.

Nobody goes anywhere because they're all studying, so I'm left with nothing to do but sit around bored.
Hell, I'd even prefer going in to work.

But, it does leave you with a lot of free time to StumbleUpon, and I finally have had the age old Rock-Paper-Scissors dilemma explained to me.

Just how ecstatic I feel right now.

Just sat my second history AS level exam, on module Two "The Ascendancy of France 1660-1715", and after how well last week's Module on James&Charles I of England went, I was feeling a little iffy about the whole thing.

The second module is divided into two halves, ~1660-~1697, finishing at the Nine Years War, being the first half.
The second half is ~1697 - 1714, the War of the Spanish Succession, including the partition treaties for the Spanish Empire before, the causes of the War, the key battles in the War, the conclusion of the War and the Peace Treaties.

You get two questions on each half, and you must answer two of the four questions (both have 2 parts, one worth 8 marks and one worth 22), so you essentially answer 2 eight mark questions and 2 twenty-two mark questions.
This means you could opt to learn half of the course in depth, but obviously you risk getting nasty questions on your chosen half and being sunk if you can't answer the other half. But, despite that, I decided to just learn the latter half of the module.

I realised this morning I'd left out the partition treaties and the peace treaties, and worse still, couldn't find any notes on them. So I panicked like crazy and tried to read out the textbook, feeling confident on the battles (all 4 battles have the same results & consequences, with the number of causalities being the only difference), and the causes.
So I went into the exam with the minimal knowledge of the two parts I was unsure of, and, unsurprisingly, both of them came up :D

But so did a 22 mark question that we've done well over a dozen times in class! Perfect!
And, from out of nowhere, I swear I pulled all these facts, figures, statistics and quotes that if you'd asked me this morning I would've broken down crying.

I came out feeling confident, but unsure as to whether or not I'd done well on the fiddly eight markers. But, I looked at my notes, and I nailed absolutely everything!.
That was by far the best exam paper I've ever sat and I am beyond reasonably confident that I have absolutely smashed all four questions and have reached band Four (the top) for each question.

Absolutely overwhelmed at just how well it went!

Ah, well, time for work to bring me back down to Earth

EDIT: Ooooeeerrrr, that came across a bit wordier than intended. If you manage to wade through that incessant rambling about something which you may or may not have any interest in and find the point despite my emotional outpour. Well done! ^_^

A few weeks ago. During a skype call filled with hysterical anti-joke laughter (mainly by me whilst he just sat there listening to my questionable sanity)

    I can't stop watching it :P

Tuck it away for a cheery afternoon, it's just so darn addictive.

The likes of which I have never seen before!

I'm currently lying on my trampoline (why not?), typing this sun fueled blog entry.
I brought all my notes outside and am lying on the trampoline learning the financial, religious and foreign policies of James & Charles I of England for my exam in just under 3 hours.

Probably not the most ideal time to begin my revision.
It's absolutely fantastic, I can't remember the last time we had so much heat and sun in such a short space of time.
I haven't been able to revise outside since my GCSE's last year, ( I tried at Easter but ended up crying as one of my essays flew over the fence (( too much wind!! )) )
    so it's truly relaxing.

iTunes on shuffle, some interesting history to look over and a big bottle of lemonade, all whilst lying outside in the sun.
Who needs to go abroad when Northern Ireland has this?

I swear, if it was like this more often Northern Ireland would be the best place in the world to live, hands down.
    (Well, aside from the bombs.)

Today was a monumental day, for a very specific day.

Today marked a small step for man, a giant leap for JethrawKind.

    Today, I became a man.

After 8 or so long months of sweat, tears, blood and toil.

    I completed angry birds.
After many ragequits, furiously proclaiming profanities, I rolled out of bed, sat down on the sofa with my iPod and flung birds like never before!

    The French kind!
    There, I said it. :P

I have my french speaking (oral) exam in the morning at 11:10 am and am absolutely terrified.
Still struggling to learn the final paragraph of my presentation, which is usually the end result of writing a presentation filled with vocabulary you don't understand :P

However, I did prepare answers for 18 essential questions that are apparently quite common, as foretold by my teacher.
Hopefully, all going well, I should be aiming for atleast 40-45/60 tomorrow.
25% of an exam mark is never to be sniffed at, and I'm aiming for a C at this point, so *fingers crossed*.

    EDIT: I realise writing this probably isn't the most productive way to spend the time, but I'm coming down with a cold that's left me feeling run down, so I feel a break is in order ;_;

Hi all, let's go to Fight Pits for a fun, fun, fun event!

However, you can't wear anything better than mithril.
The best weapon you can use is a mithril 2hander.
You can't use curses or any prayers that require a level over 35.
You can't wear any boots better than bronze.
No gloves better than green dragonhide vambraces
    No spells

And if you have any 99s, you're required to brew to level 30 before each round starts.
This is so nobody feels left out and nobody can show off.

EDIT: If you actually manage to win despite all this, rest assured your inventory will be checked more than once and sore losers will make a personal attack and then deny it!

Win a round of an event?!
    Be branded a mistrusted cheater!
