I got an email for my 7 year anniversary here and then I saw someone link to Sal's on Reddit so I decided to stop in and say hi. I don't recognize any of you and there are probably very few of you who recognize me, but trust me I was a huge celebrity back in the day, and the most relevant community reference I can think of is to MyChemicalRomanceZezima666. That guy was awesome. Anyway, I thought I'd just leave this here. I'm a freshman in college now and life is just peachy. I'm never coming back except to leave a giant picture of a birthday cake or something on my 10th anniversary. Most of the posts I made here are from when when I was an angsty 8th-9th grader so please don't read them. It's 12:30 here and I should really get to bed. Peace

Is he the guy that does all the awkward interviews where the newscaster basically ask him "Are you SURE you don't have ANY sort of mental disability?" Then he pauses for a while, fidgets in his chair and finally says "No, I don't".
-
Gee, I sure would love to play that game but TECHNOLOGY HATES ME AND IT DOESN'T WORK. I SURE LOVE MY LAPTOP. That was sarcasm, btw.

Punching doesn't help. It just gets you into the habit of punching things when you're mad, and when you don't have anything to punch, you're in trouble. Read Cracked.com, it really helps. I always try to lose myself to forget stress. Read a book, play videogames, play music, write a story, etc.

I don't have a limit that I know of, but I don't download torrents or porn, and I don't think I've ever downloaded more than a couple gigs in a month. Comcast gets decent speeds.

I don't think I've ever seen a blog or YouTube channel that is neutral about the news or even claims to be, although I think that's a large part (not the whole) of the future of journalism. We now have sites like Twitter where people can talk about what happened before the news organizations can even get someone on the scene. And then there are the cases like the Iranian election riots, where basically all our information came from people uploading to YouTube.

I took a short (8-9 month) hiatus. I thought I was leaving 4ever but then summer happened and I got bored.

'Cuz if you don't I'll go emo. I'm just stopping by for the summer, or just today, or the rest of my life. wuteva

I have decided that I have lost interest in this place and am officially announcing my retirement. I apologize to all my fans I have let down.

Hitler used A, what more needs to be said?

The Bible has been translated many times, each time with something changed or something left out. Our version of the Bible (Which is the KJV, with a few changes included in footnotes) seeks to restore the "Plain and precious" things that have been lost out of it over thousands of years. I smell a contradiction. This will require some background info. to explain. After Jesus's death and the death of all the apostles there was no one left on Earth with God's power, so many of the rites that require it could no longer be preformed. That mean most of the work done on translating the Bible, while there was nothing wrong with it, was done without the power and influence of God, so was susceptible to human mistakes like unclear translation. After this has gone on for thousands of years, it makes sense that certain things would be lost or changed. Our translation is done with influence of God, basically saying what was left out and what needs to be fixed after 2,000 years. God's power, huh? Do you mean that all of the apostles were equal in power to God? Also, if everybody with "God's power" died out, how did the Mormons acquire it? http://mormon.org/mormonorg/eng/basic-beli...n-of-the-gospel Perhaps the "main church" you heard about is the conference center. It's where we hold our general conference every year and a lot of other important meeting. You need to be a member to attend most of the meetings (I think, I know you have to be at least 8), but you can take a tour of it whenever you like, and I would recommend that if you're ever in Salt Lake. It's really a pretty building. And the recommendation letters, you're thinking of temples. There are ~140 temples throughout the world, and they're where we preform our most sacred ceremonies. To get in, yes you do need a recommend signed by your leaders. Every member is expected to get one and attend regularly. Why? Simply because of the nature of what we do in the temple it's not open to everyone.
