Hello sal people. Here's something to spice up your Runescape Nostalgia. (I didn't make this but when I find the time me and a few buds are gonna make a night of it) RUNESCAPE 2007 NOSTALGIA DRINKING Basic rules No trading with players outside of each other. Grand exchange is allowed. http://2007.runescape.wikia.com/ is the only allowed external source. No membership. Server will be agreed on the night. Participation is not required but you have to drink. Using the miniclip browser saves you from 4 drinks. “Finish your drink” requires you to have a can at least 1⁄3 full. Either down a fresh drink or take a shot if your drink is less than 1⁄3. Majors Majors are events that cause players to drink a lot! The first person to finish Tutorial Island doesn’t take a big drink. The first person that enters Varrock sewer takes a big drink. Take a big drink every time you teleport. Take a big drink every time you die. Wearing full Black Armour is pretty bad ass. Finish your drink. Being the first person to enter a guild forces everyone else to finish their drink. Completing the Prince Ali Rescue quest requires you to finish your drink. Completing the Shield of Arrav quest first forces everyone else to finish their drink. Completing the Knight’s Sword quest first forces everyone else to finish their drink. Completing the Demon Slayer quest first forces everyone else to finish their drink. Completing the Vampire Slayer quest first forces everyone else to finish their drink. Completing the Dragon Slayer quest first forces everyone else to drink three shots. If you are the last person to complete a quest not mentioned above you have to finish your drink. If someone notices you’ve missed a minor drink, take a big drink. For every Level you beat in the Stronghold of Security, take a big drink. If you spill a drink on someone else’s equipment you have to down five drinks and are banned from playing, but not drinking. You must continue to drink. Minors Minors are events that cause players to drink a little! Visited by a random event. You drink. Paying the toll to Al Kahrid (Void after “Prince Ali Rescue”). You drink. Every time you pick a banana. You drink. Every three levels you gain a level after level 10 in a skill. You drink Every time you use a bank. You drink. If you ask whether a feature is f2p. You drink. If someone offers to trim armour or ask for a gf. You drink. Trading with each other. You both drink. Drink a minor when you reach 5,000g, two minors on 10,000g and an extra minor for every additional 10,000g. The gf rule The gf rule is less of a rule and more of a personal mission in Runescape. A player trying to attempt to the gf rule must make their character a girl and act in the overworld as if they were a girl. The goal of the gf rule is to become another player’s gf. Upon becoming another player’s gf all other players must down their drinks. Someone who succeeds in completing the gf rule may subvert the “no outside trades” rule in order to benefit from all the free shizzle they get from their new bf. FOR EVERY 1000G YOU SWINDLE FROM YOUR BF, EVERYONE ELSE MUST DRINK PK rules Dueling is apparently in f2p now. If you challenge someone to a duel and win, they take three minor drinks. If you challenge someone to a duel and lose, you take one major drink. If someone challenges you and you decline, you take one minor drink. If someone declines they cannot be challenged by you for another 30 minutes. Challenging someone voids your 30 minute free period. Challenges can be issued face to face and not in game. If you kill an enemy player, you take a minor drink. You don’t take a drink if that player was also an event player. Equipment rules (All rules imply equipping a slot for the first time) Equipping Bronze equipment. Take a minor drink. Equipping Iron equipment. Take a minor drink. Equipping Steel equipment. Everyone else takes a major drink. Equipping Mithril equipment. Take a major drink. Equipping Adamant equipment. Finish your drink. Equipping Rune equipment. Everyone else finishes their drinks. Award Ceremony At the end of the drinking game everyone’s progress will be compared and awards will be distributed. The awards will be in the form of more drinking. Highest Combat level You’re the best around! Everyone else must finish their drinks. Highest total level Everyone else must take a minor drink for every level lower they are than you. Richest player The richest player has incurred a lot of minor drinks to get this far but their dedication to their cause has earned them 1 shot for every 50K they have at the end.. They can force these shots onto other player’s of their choosing or choose the drink them themselves. Most quest points Everyone else must take a shot. In the result of any of these being a tie, all tieing players must take a shot. So yeah, how is everyone doing anyway?

It's been quite some time since I've played RS. Coming back to runescape.com I've discovered RS3 just recently. This video summarizes my first impressions, as it is too much to type to one post before it gets too boring: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TV6qTo9i4WA -Zeit

SOoo... Since Sunday I have been playing Runescape again! Been very happy in many ways. I didn't realize they had kept some old jagex servers for 07scape at first, if you read my last blog entry lol. I started to play that again from scratch and got to a total level of 347. I was having a lot of fun, brought back some ole memories. Theres a screen of my skills lol. I had alot of fun sunday at work (as im sitting down at a computer for long periods of time anyway, bored out of my mind in most cases), and I continued onto monday and tuesday. Went to WC and Fletching, my go to skills (what I remember to be the two best money making combo, coupled with runecrafting nats for high alching longbows lol) Only trouble I have is that there is no Grand Exchange... I know I heard of a site that people can look for items and stuff, but I long for a time where people would stand at the banks of the main cities and just yell out items they were selling in pretty colors. rofl. Alas, there are not enough people in the servers these days to do so. HOWEVER.. this does not sadden me THAT much. It kind of motivates me as far as in the game overall. It makes me want to get VERY high levels again and be completely self sufficient, only looking to find extremely rare items when I have a lot of money saved. But do what my old account did. Ill be happy with that just for the nostalgia. BUT, I DID take the advice of some others and give RS3 a try... I had no idea where I was at when I logged in, so I home teled and just tried to get reaquainted with stuff. The only skill I had under 30-40 was Divination.. so I went for that and learned the skill a bit. I clicked a ton on the windows and started to get a feel for the interface. It DID take my old eyes a while to understand, and also to notice the adjustable sizes XD. Although I still dont necessarily like the fight mechanics... I will admit the graphics are ridiculous. And skilling is almost the same otherwise. I got to 22-23 Div and decided to try the skills i remember. I mined some ores, even used some div to weave iron into silver. I think I found a new way to get crafting up while mining a bit :P. I remember silver mining being annoying, but iron is just about everywhere... Anyways,.. so its not a complete loss i suppose. I do still have all my armor and stuff, though I feel like I have less money then I remember... but I have over 300 of every rune at least... allllll my pure essence, about 4Ks worth, and some pouches for abyssal runecrafting still lol. I tried my hand at that and got about 200 more laws and nature runes each in just a few runs. Not alot of XP, but I do remember it being money lol. Mined some more ess to replenish (i remembered the magic guild tele in yanille) I guess I was mostly confused by 1) the graphics and where the heckle I was (still dont know exactly..) and 2) learning the interface. It DID take me some time to learn that... but I was doing a menial task, starting divination lol. I attacked some stray creatures, but since my account is actually i think 167 combat now? (did they change the number on these things too...?) Most things between lumbridge and seers village dont hurt me... So I learned the fight mechanic a bit without risk of dying, and clicked the windows and figured out how to arrange and remove and all this. The chat window is still a mystery to me, but hey who knows. Atm on RS3, just fishing monks. Still only 81 fishing, Gotta work on it :P. And ill cook em too, 81 cooking lol. I'm kind of glad I get both RS3 and 07scape actually... now im twice as happy since I took yawls advice and tried it XD SO THANKS GUYS

Geoguessr. Start out in a random place in the world in Google street view, and use clues around you to find out where it is. But be warned that being in a random place in Google street view could lead to undesirable scenes such as this one I just got.

To start out with, our rules! RULES 1. Cursing is NOT allowed in clan chat 2. You MUST cap out in the citadel weekly 3. If a player needs help you must help them, no exceptions 4. If a new member joins the clan be sure to welcome them! 5. ALWAYS be friendly, remember bad behavior will make the clan look bad! 6. Please do not beg, we have many members that will help you with money making guides 7. Each member will have a job, you MUST do your job daily 8. You must be loyal in order to keep your place in this clan 9. You must respect EVERYONE 10. You must ALWAYS be honest These rules should be how you normally play the game anyway, so it shouldn't be so hard right? A little info on the clan! Hello everyone, I would like to tell you just what Ascended Alliance is all about! Firstly I would like to say we are a Semi-Roleplay clan which means we each have a job ( We take on the role of our job and we do it daily) Secondly we are a social clan ( This means we are very chatty, we love newcomers and everyone is welcomed to join in on the conversation! ) And lastly we are a helping clan ( This means all members are required to help your fellow RS players, and clan members of course! If you see someone in need do not hesitate to take a second of your time just to ask if there is any way you can help! ) Now that we have that settled I must say that we are a newly formed clan though I have high hopes for us! We are currently in the beta stage of the whole roleplay process ( Basically nobody has a job just yet, though this will change soon! ) The leader of the clan is "Miss Sophiax" ( Me! ) There is currently no co-leader though I do have my eyes on someone for that position. If you're looking to join the clan just for an officer role then you are wasting your time! All ranks must be earned fairly. ( Recruiting, Capping in the Citadel, Being active and loyal, Etc. ) We are here to help people, that is our main goal. We are hoping to grow large, and help players all over Runescape! If you would love to join a friendly community with a lovely atmosphere and helpful members then we are for you. Now here is some information on future events! Future events for Ascended Alliance! I plan to host several events, ranging from skilling, the monster killing, all the way to misc hide and seek hunts, etc. Now for a little info. I do for sure plan to host some sort of fishing event, each event will have a reward either cash or some great item that will entice you all. For more information on this feel free to chat with me ingame, I will also make a forum section just for events! Also on a side note we currently have a recruitment event going on! Please check out our website for more info! Website: http://ascendedalliance.enjin.com/home (if it's not okay to add our site please remove this link) Leaders ingame name: Blissard

Introduction: Have you been interested in being more than just a member in a clan? Have you been a member but have never been recognized for all you achieved? Have you always been interested in being a founder and leading a clan to greatness? I am currently looking for four talented, friendly, and energetic founders who are willing to take the time to not only start a clan and lead it to greatness, but to help those in need, rather they be clan member or stranger. The Clan: This clan would be focusing on Skills and Questing. How is this clan going to be different from any other clan? Simple. The members. We were all new to this game once. Do you remember how hard it was to figure out how to play? How frustrating it was to find shops, quest items, and good places to fish and mine? This is because there wasn’t a clan to give us a hand and help us out. Until now. We will be focusing on skills and quests while helping those who are need, member or stranger; beginner to expert. Requirements to be a founder: 1. Be active 2. Mature 3. Friendly 4. Have the same ideals as covered above 5. Be able to help plan/hold events 6. Have ideas to help bring the clan to greatness Interested? Add me as a friend on runescape: Daskatza Or post here. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or get to know me first.

So basically what you do is you continue the sentence which the previous person has said For example: first person: I like to second person: play runescape alot The story can be about anything, make it fun! I'll start off.. I went to

More ranged training! This time I didn't die...
Helm Lardar posted a blog entry in Helm Lardar's blog:
I've often found that the ranged skill tends to be undesirable. Melee is cheap and useful and you can get fast xp for very little money. Magic is expensive, but incredibly powerful, and it's also got a whole host of non-combat uses, largely teleports. Ranged is a slow skill that you train at medium cost. It's got some rewards, largely things that defend well against magic, but for the most part it's not particularly easy or fun to train. With that said, at high levels it's very useful: I once asked the collective rogue's den what was a more useful 99: magic or ranged? Without a doubt, they replied that it was the latter: apparently with 99 you can "make bank" at armadyl. With Hati paws, I thought it was an ideal time to train ranged. I headed to Wallasakis with a friend. We both died horrible, horrible deaths. It was fun, because I learned something and it was a shared experience, but...it wasn't a good way to train. Instead, I decided I'd finally look properly into chinchompas, a subject I was relatively unfamiliar with. Red chinchompas are fat, exploding guinea pigs that you can catch in the western jungles south of the Feldip hills. You throw them. They hit multiple enemies. They do good damage. You get good xp. I'd tried them once before, buying around 2000 chinchompas for around 500k. I think. I'm a little hazy here, because that sounds too good to be true. Nowadays, 500 chinchompas costs 700k. Anyway, I headed to the mummies in the chaos tunnels and there was a player on every world I visited, so I headed to a different one. This was a german world. I logged in. I lagged horrendously. I could not activate my prayer. I died. I headed back to pick up my prayer potions and lost gear, but I couldn't recoup my investment, the chinchompas: those little things run away when you die, in a bid for freedom. Perhaps they all got eaten by Dagganoths or taken away by Zamorakians for experimentation. I really don't know, but I know I lost at least 500k and it put me off chinchompas because losing stuff which you can't afford sucks. Exhibit A: a Skeletal Monkey. Exhibit B: a Red Chinchompa, equipped. Exhibit C: a bot, hunting chinchompas. Not there? That'll be why chinchompas are so expensive. Anyway, nowadays with Hati paws I thought that I should train ranged. Wallasakis didn't work. Bandos' throne room, which I may cover in another blog, was poor ranged experience but fairly good money. I needed something new, and I decided to try red chinchompas in another location, ape atoll. Ape atoll is generally considered to be better experience but slightly more expensive as the monkey skeletons don't drop the various expensive things mummies do. However, given the cost of chinchompas currently anyway, this is a false economy: you already gain less xp per chinchompa at mummies, and you'll also gain less xp per hour because you have to lure the mummies and pick up valuable things, etc. Monkeys are simple: they drop nothing. Not even bones. They're undead, so in a flash of creativity from the Jagex team (something that is remarkably prominent on ape atoll) their bones transmogrify back into their dangerous selves. Some say you should never chin before 75 ranged, as it's poor xp. To them I say, you're wrong! Chinchompas are fantastic experience before 75 ranged, and at 65 ranged I was decimating the skeletons. Sure, I wasn't getting 400k xp/hr (which is very much possible at higher levels) but I was getting perhaps 200? The levels are vastly, vastly quicker to gain lower down as well, which means that you level faster. If I want to spend money on ranged, no other option is going to be as effective, and frankly all this boils down to is a debate of whether chinchompas are a waste of money generally. They're not. That's spoiled the story, hasn't it? Anyway, I went into ape atoll through the fairy ring, down the log, across the bamboo bars, swung along the vine, and exited the gate to the sound of the monkey chief guard screaming "open the gate! a monkey wishes to pass!" without a monkeyspeak amulet. It's a bit odd. "Ook aah ooh ah! Ah OOK OOK ah ook ahh!". The tunnels are deep and twisting, but when I got there I started killing the things. I ran out of food and antipoison. A ring of life teleported me out as I was slowly dying and I might have been silly enough to stay for a bit longer. 71 lp is not a good time to stay. I bought more rings of life and went back. This time there still wasn't anyone at the big corner. I started killing things in a wildly inefficient way, fanning the skeletons around me so that they would respawn. Protip: they'll respawn even if they're under something. A mage turned up, and started hitting the things too! I would have been annoyed, but I couldn't: he was a genuinely nice guy and showed me some key ways to train more effectively. Largely speaking: -Once you've attracted them all, stand under one of the roof slabs, *here* (it's a 1 square crevice in the rock where they can only attack from one side). This stops the roof from crumbling onto you so you won't take damage. -They'll pile up nicely on top of each other. This is a really effective method for training magic too. -When they respawn in odd places, step 3 steps out, wait, and then go back in. Fast and simple way to restore maximum xp. Oh by the way, I suppose it's worth mentioning that I was using red dragonhide, archer helm, eagle eye prayer and a ranged potion to augment my training. I thought it was well worth the extra cost, as I hit far more often with the latter two on. I might look into an aura for ranged (ie something different from Vampyrism) if they're particularly effective. I learned plenty of useful things and then ran out of chinchompas. I went back for more. I got 69 ranged (from 66 just an hour ago). I heard the cry of 'dinner', so I ran up the tunnel and turned into a monkey before logging out. Next time I log on I'll get 70 ranged, and then perhaps further down the line I'll be able to buy more chinchompas and get 75, 80, whatever. It's a really fun way to train! ~Helm Lardar~-

What Men Want, And What They Get. Credits To Simple013
Henrique651 posted a blog entry in blogs_blog_100
Well, lets start this story how it was. I was chilling at #novus chatroom, talking to some people, when Simple013 posted a link. She told us to go check, and so we did. That link had a women dived in chocolate, holding a strawberry. To this, our brave fellow Dani promptly answered: "Nice Strawberry" Everyone Laughed, until a guy said: "You can have the Strawberry, and let me keep the rest!" Little Johnny was 7 years old and like other boys his age rather curious. He had been hearing quite a bit about 'making out' from the older boys, and he wondered what it was and how it was done. One day he took his question to his mother, who became rather flustered. Instead of explaining things to Johnny, she told him to hide behind the curtains one night and watch his older sister and her boyfriend. This he did. The following morning, Johnny described EVERYTHING to his mother. "Sis and her boyfriend sat and talked for a while, then he turned off most of the lights. Then he started kissing and hugging her. I figured 'Sis must be getting sick, because her face started looking funny. He must have thought so too, because he put his hand inside her blouse to feel her heart, just the way the doctor would. Except he's not as smart as the doctor because he seemed to have trouble finding her heart. I guess he was getting sick too, because pretty soon both of them started panting and getting all out of breath. His other hand must have been cold because he put it under her skirt. About this time 'Sis got worse and began to moan and sigh and squirm around and slide down toward the end of the couch. This was when her fever started. I knew it was a fever, because Sis told him she felt really hot. Finally, I found out what was making them so sick......-a big eel ;had gotten inside his pants somehow. It just jumped out of his pants and stood there, about 10 inches long, honest, anyway he grabbed it in one hand to keep it from getting away. When Sis saw it, she got really scared-her eyes got big, and her mouth fell open, and she started calling out to God and stuff like that. She said it was the biggest one she's ever seen; I should tell her about the ones down at the lake by our house! Anyway, Sis got brave and tried to kill the eel by biting its head off. All of a sudden she grabbed it with both hands and held it tight while he took a muzzle out of his pocket and slipped it over the eel's head to keep it from biting again. Sis lay back and spread her legs so she could get a scissor-lock on it and he helped by lying on top of the eel. The eel put up a hell of a fight. Sis started groaning and squealing and her boyfriend almost upset the couch. I guess they wanted to kill the eel by squashing it between them. After a while they both quit moving and gave a great sigh. Her boyfriend got up, and sure enough, they killed the eel. I knew because it just hung there, limp, and some of its insides were hanging out. Sis and her boyfriend were a little tired from the battle, but they went back to courting anyway. He started hugging and kissing her again. By golly, the eel wasn't dead! It jumped straight up and started to fight again. I guess eels are like cats- they have nine lives or something. This time, Sis jumped up and tried to kill it by sitting on it. After about a 35 minute struggle, they finally killed the eel. I knew it was dead, because I saw Sis's boyfriend peel its skin off and flush it down the toilet. --------------------- ROFL.
