Content, Guides and Project Status Updated: 9th June 2013 This topic serves as a compilation of everything that's currently going on regarding our website's content, including projects and guides. If there's a guide we need on the site, post it here! Use this thread to discuss areas on Sal's Realm that need improvement: guides that need to be created or rewritten, content that needs updating, or overall formatting concerns. Contents: Guidelines Content We Need Quests Skills Guilds Distractions and Diversions Cities and Locations Dungeons Miniquests Tips and Other Guides [*]Guide Rewrites [*]Site Projects Item Database Monster Database NPC Database Treasure Trails Database [*]Revision History [/name]Guidelines 1. Firstly, make sure that you read our Guidelines For submitting Content. It outlines the important things to follow when writing a guide. 2. Please realize that not all guides are accepted on the site, whether it's for being of low quality, questionable content, or just unneeded content. We need to make sure all of our content is helpful, relevant, and complete before adding a guide to the site. 3. In cases of multiple guides being submitted on the same subject, the BEST one will be used on the site. This goes for grammar/spelling, pictures, and details. Consider combining guides together in this case so that all writers get credit. 4. When you have finished writing a guide, please mark it "complete" by editing either the title or description so that I know it's the completed version. Abandoned guides that have not been edited in 3 weeks will generally be locked so that someone else can have a chance at writing one. 5. Before writing anything, please check through the current guides on the site: Acitivites Cities Distractions and Diversions Dungeons Guilds Miniquests Quests Skill Training Skills Tasks Tips Don't forget to look at the Accepted Content board to see what guides have currently been accepted! Content We Need This section contains a list of guides that we currently need, including guides for new quests, cities, activities, game features and other topics. This an advance guide to getting ringmaster set from circus. Most information from Gil400. This is for those who don't know how to get ringmaster set and would like to. Follow the following directions and you will eventually get your ringmaster set! If you have 50+ range, magic, and agility you will most likely succeed. Go to the circus event area and take your ticket! Agility Most don't know this but you can bank after you do agility to do the other 2 events. For this event you need to wear weight reduction clothing. Such as, spotted/spottier cape, boots of lightness, penance gloves, and/or the new agility top and bottom. Bring with you an agility potion or summer pie. Make sure you wear your circus clothing you already have obtained before filling in those armory slots. Remember, what you wear under the acrobat clothing they put on you, it does make a big difference on what your wearing underneath. Open the chest and search it and take out the chinchompa (Always do the highest one, doesnt matter if your not at that level yet). Drink your agility potion or eat your summer pie and start to do the following! Do an Emote (any emote) Then Juggle (chinchompa) Then Emote (any emote, but don't be repeat the same emotes everytime) Then Backflip (this is also a 99 skill, but continue to do it) Keep repeating this format until the Ring Leader dude stops you. Magic Ok, tear your ticket up and go bank. Fill the armory spots with the following list if you do not have the circus item to fill the recommended slot. Boots - Infinity, Mystic, Wizard, or Lunar. Gloves - Infinity, Mystic, Lunar, or Rfd gloves. Top - Ahrims, Infinity, Mystic, Lunar, 3rd age, or Wizard robe top. Bottom – Ahrims, 3rd age, Infinity, Mystic, or Lunar. Head – Ahrims, 3rd age, Infinity, Mystic, Lunar, or Void Mage helm. Cape – God cape or lunar cape Potion – Magic potion Now, select start on the fairy chick and go to the box. Open, search, take out the following. Drink your potion and pray. If you have 9 pray, pray mystic will (increase mage by 5%). For 27 pray, pray mystic lore (increase mage by 10%). And last, for 45 pray, pray mystic might (increase mage by 15%). Now the following is easy, keep your focus on the level 99 anvil only. Do Emote Then use Teleport Then Emote Then Alchemy Keep doing this until the Boss stops you. Range Once again, bank and get the following inventory ready. Fill the empty armory slots if you do not have a circus clothing for that slot. Boots - ranger or snakeskin boots. Gloves - vambraces (the highest you can wear) or rfd gloves. Top - dragonhide (the highest you can wear), karils, 3rd age, or armadyl. Legs - dragonhide (the highest you can wear), karils, 3rd age, or armadyl. Head - Coifs (the highest you can wear), void ranger helm, or armadyl helm. Cape - Ava's accumalator. Potion - Ranging potion Now, click start on the dude and go to the box and take the following out. Here's the trick, we are only going to focus on the 99 spot of the spinning wheel and the ducks. Drink your range pot and pray the highest eye pray you can (sharp eye (5%), hawk eye(10%), or eagle eye(15%)). Carefully follow the listed directions: Go to the ducks, do emote, then use bow and arrow Go to the spinning wheel, do emote, then use knife Go back to ducks, do emote, use a throwing axe this time. Go back to spinning wheel, do emote, use knife again. Always get on the level 99 spot, never do the same emote twice in a row. You will only use a knife on the spinning wheels. Keep doing it in this way until the Ringmaster guy stops you. And you are done!

~Summy Plans~ Well, since I'm 80 already I'll start at a level 70. So if i was level 70, i would do Barker toads (gold charms), fruit bats (green charms), bloated leech (crimson charms) then granite lobsters at 74 (crimson charms), and karamthulhu overloads (blue charms). This is the way i do it to avoid higher prices on secondary items. First, what i do is, buy all my secondary items the day b4 i start summoning. I also buy a bunch of duel rings (teleport to castle wars), about 10-12 kyatt pouches (teleports to piscatoris summy obby), pouches, and shards (buy about 100k each time u run out). Next, when u have all your items for each kind of charm, do gold charms first! Always do your gold charms first bc it mite just save u sum money if your only going for a certain goal level like 80 or 85 or 88, and u don't really want to go over. Then after u have used all your gold charms, use the next cheap charm, which is green. Using the cheaper charms will save u money bc shards can get expensive by the higher the charm is. If u manage to get to level 76, start doing forge regents until u get to 78, then do giant ents. After your done with your gold and green charms, and if your not at the level you want to stop at, continue with your crimson charms now. If your at 74 by the time u use them, jump to making granite lobsters instead. If u get to level 85, start doing swamp titans. Lastly, I do blue charms. I always do karamthulhu overload bc the second item is cheaper. Summy Info: Level 66/Barker Toad Pouch/Gold Charms/2nd Item: Swamp Toad/11 Shards (each pouch) Level 69/Fruit Bat Pouch/Green Charms/2nd Item: Banana/130 Shards (each pouch) Level 76/Forge Regent Pouch/Green Charms/2nd Item: Ruby Harvest/141 Shards (each pouch) Level 78/Giant Ent Pouch/Green Charms/2nd Item: Willow branch/124 Shards (each pouch) Level 74/Granite Lobster Pouch/Crimson Charms/2nd Item: Granite(500g)/166 Shards (each pouch) Level 85/Swamp Titan Pouch/Crimson Charms/2nd Item: Swamp Lizard/150 Shards (each pouch) Level 58/Karamthulhu Overlord Pouch/Blue Charms/2nd Item: Empty fishbowl/144 Shards (each pouch) Calculated Planner for Killa/Lady: Killa Hydro2: Gold charms will get him to 76 with 2040 green charms, 78 with 2059 green charms, 79 with crimson charms, 82 with blue charms, 82 STA: 8.6m Lady Tunnel: Gold charms will get me to 81 with green charms, 82 with crimson charms, 84 with blue charms, 85 STA: 4.5m Note: STA is Spending total amount, which includes, pouches, shards, and secondary items. Calculated prices of today's date. Ge rise and falls. So it depends on the Ge prices the day we start on summy training. Goal signatures for both of us: We plan on doing slayer for more charms to get to our planned goal.

This list is for my benefit and no one Else's. Although there were some potions and information left out.* Ever needed to make that item, but were just one level off? This guide will help you if you need to raise your stats. Be warned, however, some quests and achievement diaries require the actual level. Note: A skill Cape of Achievement, when operated, raises your level in its respective skill by 1, making it level 100. This is not included elsewhere in this guide. To make a Spicy Stew, you first need a cat (or hellcat), and some stew (as many as you can hold). Go to Evil Dave's basement, in Edgeville. Make your cat chase the rats, which will drop spice, either Red, Orange, Yellow, or Brown. Place the stews into the soup. Depending on the color of spice, it will boost a certain skill: * Red: Attack, Strength, Defense, Ranged and Magic. * Orange: Smithing, Crafting, Fletching, Runecrafting, Cooking, Construction and Firemaking. * Yellow: Prayer, Agility, Slayer, Thieving and Hunter. * Brown: Woodcutting, Herblore, Farming, Fishing and Mining. Depending on how many of each spice you add, the maximum amount the skill can be boosted increases: * 1 Spice: +2 * 2 Spices: +4 * 3 Spices: +6 A few things to note about Spicy Stew: * More than one color of spice may be added to a stew. * Eating multiple Stews can lower your stat continuously (as low as 0), but will never boost a stat by more than 6. * Only one stew may be made at a time, but you can have an infinite amount of spices. So, as soon as you eat one, you can make another. * The skills a certain stew will boost is random. For example, eating a red colored stew could increase all of the above mentioned stats, a few, or none at all. Negative Booster Effects Zamorak Brew -2-11 Defence/Hitpoints Saradomin Brew -2-9 Strength/Attack/Magic/Range Poison Chalice Can damage up to 49 hp

How, What, Where, and With What, to Power-mine? How to Power-mine? When power-mining, you want to always make sure that how you are power-mining is more effective. Especially if you are going for 99 mining. Always wear weight reduction clothing when mining. Like the agile top -12k, agile legs -10k, spottier cape -4.5k, spotted cape -3k, penance gloves -5k, and boots of lightness -4.5k. Do not wear Varrock 3 Armour! When power-mining, it isn't a good idea to wear it because it fills up the inventory quicker. If you choose to power-mine at the quarry, again wear weight-reduction clothing and enchanted water tiara (make sure you have enough charges on it). Or you can bring water-skins and knife or use lunar spell humidify, if you don't have enchanted water tiara. Common sense outta let you know to drop any ores in your inventory when it fills up...>.> To truly power-mine effectively, it really depends on you. For instance, how often you click to mine and how often you drop your ores. In the end, it's up to you to choose how, what, where, and with what to power-mine. Good luck with mining. Any questions please post, and all work and information will be credited at the end of the guide. What to Power-mine? Iron Sandstone Granite STARS (Click for more info) Where to Power-mine? This is easy, search around runescape to see where you can power-mine iron. Al-kharid (scorpion mine was great until Jagex updated it. It was 3 all around you. Only place I have seen that, is at Piscatoris mine. Find a good spot where there are multiple iron ores around you. Once you found your spot, begin power-mining! For those wanting to mine sandstone and granite, there is only one place to go to power-mine that. Kharidian Desert, the Quarry. What to Power-mine with? Always use the highest pickaxe you can use! Bronze Iron Steel Mithril Adamantite Rune Dragon Inferno Adze Sacred-Clay Special Pickaxes' Notes: -The Dragon Pickaxe requires a Mining level of 61 to use and is the fastest pickaxe in the game, even beating the Inferno Adze, in terms of speed. -The Inferno adze is a tool capable of being a mining tool and a woodcutting tool. It requires level 41 Mining to use as a mining tool and level 92 Firemaking to wield. -The Sacred-clay/Volatile-clay pickaxe requires level 40 Mining to use and each give bonus experience per ore mined (with the exception of a few ores in Runescape). The sacred-clay variant of the pickaxe gives double the normal given experience, while the volatile-clay version gives 2.2 times the normal experience. Be aware that neither of these pickaxes are permanent and will disappear or morph into a different tool after a certain number of uses. -----------------CREDITS------------------ Sal's Realm of Runescape for pictures and some information

After 10 hours of Guide writing, I have finished the guide. :P Having a 100 step FQW to write and then link makes a really tedious 2 hours. :o RIP. :P Tip for when doing a boss battle: Make sure your internet connection isn't going to fail half way through. :o

So they've suddenly decided to completely re-jig how the Herblore Skill works, making all the Herbs look ugly, adding new items, re-naming others, getting rid of wonderful examination descriptions, etc. <_< Help pl0x. At least they've given an Achievement Diary that I probably won't do for absolutely ages. <_< I've done about 7 tasks from the Karamja Diary.
