I've taken to calling it "Realm of Runescape". As you will know, a couple of years ago I made this, to evoke more of a feeling of the classic website, which for nostalgia reasons and the popularity of the site, everyone loved. It never got finished, and as I sat there watching The Matrix for the 478th time three years into the future, I decided I wanted to revisit that design and have some fun. Perhaps along the way, I could make something compatible with Wordpress, I did briefly consider my Runescape site but at the same time, trying to find the people to help and create something from scratch would be a logistical nightmare. I'm very intrigued about SEO and social media and getting pages ranked highly. Perhaps at some stage, it's something I'll look at addressing. So here is the continuation of that work in progress. As you can see it's got a whole new logo, that's taken inspiration from the classic Runescape logo as well as "Sal's Realm of" in the top banner of the old website. The menu navigation is a direct inspiration from the current and previous RuneScape website itself using a stone motif and using a horizontal block to span the width of the page. The breadcrumbs feature the home teleport icon because it's quaint and fun. The colours of the new design are taken almost entirely from the old design which mostly centres on blue, grey and hints of golds yellows. I'm quite interested in finishing this one. It would be nice to complete a websites design for once, and also I feel like the community deserves the refresh even if the website never updates again, which is most likely the outcome. Team, On this glorious November morning, I was blessed to receive an email reminding me of the 11th anniversary of our exodus from the old forums to these 'new' ones. Sal's End of Summer Clan Chat Awards - 2014 ~ UPDATE ~ Ok it would be annoying to have another stage that would force everyone to have to post again, so we've decided it would be better to have just one stage for the awards - nominations/votes. Basically your nominations will count as votes, even if you've nominated more than one person/category all nominations will still count as votes. If there's a guide we need on the site, post it here! Firstly, make sure that you read our Guidelines For submitting Content. It outlines the important things to follow when writing a guide. 2. Please realize that not all guides are accepted on the site, whether it's for being of low quality, questionable content, or just unneeded content. We need to make sure all of our content is helpful, relevant, and complete before adding a guide to the site. 3. In cases of multiple guides being submitted on the same subject, the BEST one will be used on the site. This goes for grammar/spelling, pictures, and details. Consider combining guides together in this case so that all writers get credit. 4. When you have finished writing a guide, please mark it "complete" by editing either the title or description so that I know it's the completed version. Abandoned guides that have not been edited in 3 weeks will generally be locked so that someone else can have a chance at writing one. 5. Sup guys, it's time for a revelation. I joined this forum in 2007, although i had been lurking the fansite for a year or two beforehand for all my runescape needs. My brother, whom i've had mixed relations with the past few years, found out about this forum through me, despite his "hate" for runescape. He made an account but he never really talked to me, mainly because of IRL situations that stifled our friendship. It's August 2012 now though, and times have changed, things are getting better in my life, and in my brothers. This is me and Aaron, AKA bros before hoes. I've somewhat hinted at it, but never wanted to reveal it because i thought i would be singled out, or bugged to no end due to a fact i have kept hidden from the people of this forum. i am female, my name is Aaliyah. On my profile i've had myself listed as female, but i don't think anyone actually took it seriously, which is why this thread is important to me and bros before hoes. My brother is ready to let you guys know of our sibling relation, and i couldn't be happier that he is okay with letting everyone know this. He is the reason I am okay with coming out to you all as a female. He's been there with me through thick and thin, and at times he hasn't. I'd rather not get into details about that though. The point of this thread is to reveal to you the truth i have been hiding for years, hoping you will all still accept me. I ask for no disrespect, flaming, or anything of similar nature in this thread. This is all real. I want to share this secret with you all because i love this forum. i don't want to hide stupid shizzle like this from you guys.

To be honest, I think Yuanrang and Venom deserve a round of applause because they were definitely (in my opinion) the highlights of this whole charade. Also Adam because he played the biggest role in planning this whole thing. :D Oh yeah and Donovan for taking so much flak from me and Desireful. I think it's already noted, but I'd just like to add that if you felt offended by any of the staff (including us DMs), please don't. Nearly everything that any one of us said in the past few days has all been in favor of the joke and I apologize on my behalf and on everybody's if you got offended. I hope that some of you can forgive my behavior over the past few days. I've been acting almost entirely out of anger lately. It was mostly because I just don't think I was being given a fair argument, and that I've always been "that other guy" who snuck in during the last DM promotion and I was just letting out my anger about that. I'll admit, even before this DM stuff I was acting a lot more catty / jerk-ish towards members on Sals. All in all, I'm hoping you guys haven't lost all your respect for me

Completely hypothetical situation here. You're the intern on some committee for some state government regarding some thing. You're an intern in hopes that one day you'll be on the committee, but the evaluation process for interns is pretty selective so you gotta be really good to get in there in the first place. It's a good thing, right? You'd wanna keep that position. So let's say, hypothetically, that the committee doesn't want the interns anymore. They're annoying, they don't do anything, they laze around, they drink all the coffee, whatever. The committee gives the interns one last fighting chance to prove that they're worth keeping on. What would you do? Well I'll tell you what I would do. I wouldn't act like a complete fudgeing idiot like CERTAIN FORMER DMs. What the fudge was going through your head Desireful? Honestly? Calling Don a fudgeing pedophile? Exactly how is that going to help our case? Last time I checked, we're trying to keep ourselves in business here, not give them more firepower to use against us.
