Dorgesh-kaan City Guide

Recommended Posts

Not meaning to be annoying, but can you add me under "Credits?"

I gave you the frogskin stats.

For some postive feedback,

This guide is turning out nice. I would help with some stuff but no more Member-ship. :/

I wish you well,

OnYx :s

Dorgesh-kaan is a small underground town, reached by going through Lumbridge Swamp Cave, it's inhabited by many Dorgeshuun Goblins and can be accessed upon completion of the Death To The Dorgeshuun quest. It was released in March 2007, and was before then disclosed to the public.

Technically it should be a semicolon after "cave," not a comma.

Method 2: Use the Lumbridge Teleport to get to Lumbirgde center, then walk downstairs of the Kitchen and then go through the Cave entrance, it is recommended you have a light source, then talk to the cave goblin who is just through the cave. He will take you to the mines and there you should walk south to the bone gates which lead to Dorgesh-Kaan. Requires Level 31 Magic and 1 Law, 3 Airs and 1 Earth rune to cast.

"Lumbirdge" should be "Lumbridge."

This is the way in and out of the city if you are going to use the Dorgeshuun mine root. There is a level 26 Goblin Gaurd here as well if you feel like kiling one of he cave goblins

"Gaurd" should be spelled "Guard."

"Kiling" should be spelled "killing."

This is where you come to get your special Dorgesh-kaan teleport made. IF you bring two law runes and 1 molten glass to hm he will make you the special Dorgush-kaan teleport.

In "IF," the f doesn't need to be capitalized.

"Hm" should be "him."

The Dorgush-kaan market is a bustling and busy place for any surface-dweller attempting to make a smll fortune.

The other peole you will meet around the market are the little merchants who will try to sell you some local merchandise:

"Peole" should be people.

He sells sicy bat-meat kebab for 10gp, they heal 2hp

"Sicy" should be "spicy."

They located throughout he city on both floors.

There should be the word "are" after located.

"He" should be "the."

Cave Goblin: There are two types of cave goblin. There is no distinguishable differenci there appereance but one is pickpocketable and the other is not. When you talk to them they will say 'How can you see with such lttle eyes' but you cannot respond. To pickpocket cave goblins you must have 36 Theiving. The ones that you can pickpocket give 40 Theiving exp per succesfull pickpocket. The items you can pickpocket from a cave goblin are: 20-100 coins, 3 iron ore, swamp tar, oil lantern, bullseye lantern, Dorgesh-kaan wire, frogburger, bat meat kebabs, frogspawn gumbo, wall beast fingers, crispy frog legs and green gloop soup (if I have missed any please tell me)

"Differenci" should be "difference."

"Appereance" should be "appearance."

"Lttle" should be "little."

"Theiving" should be "Thieving."

"Succesfull" should be "successful."

Zanik: Zanik has been a busy girl since your last encounter. She had been attempting to decode Juna's message and has been persuading the high coucil to let 'surface-dwellers' into Dorgesh-kaan.

"Coucil" should be "council."

Bartak: He is the head engineer and mechanic of Dorgesh-kaan and because of this great responsibilty he is a bit paranoid. Try not too make him to tense!

"Responsibilty" should be "responsibilty."

Barlak: He is a bone collector. He collects certain special bones , he will pay 1000 coins for the long straight bones and 2000 coins for the big curving bones. You get these bones from monsters that drop big bones. When you trade him the bones he will also tell you how he uses bones in Construction! He explains how he has built everything from bones. He is not only a interested in bones, he also wishes to buy your shells. He wants the shells you get from snails and large tortousises. He will buy normal shells for 250 coins and 'perfect' ones for 500 coins

"Tortousises" should be "tortoises."

Goblin Scribe: This is the seceratary of the High Council, he writes up the minutes of the Council's meetings.

"Seceratary" should be "secretary."

Amabassador Alvijar: He has travelled all the way from Keldagrim to meet with the goblins.

"Amabassador" should be "Ambassador."

"Travelled" should be "traveled."

Mernik: She runs the Dorgesh-kaan nursery, shows cave goblins have a good union. She trys to introduce to the children but they do not seen to care. She is honoured to meet you once she realises who you are.

Mind giving a brief descriptin where each important NPC(not just the Council) can be found? Possibly with labels on the map?

Sorry if there already are pictures, I don't seem to be seeing them. :)

Another person worth trading with down here is Miltog. She sells lamps, lanterns and the magic goblin mining helmet at a very reasonable price.
you might want to add here that there is a lamp still too next to the sellnig stand to destill your swamp tar and fill the empty lamps

barlak2ja3.gifBarlak: He is a bone collector. He wants the shells you get from snails and large tortoises. He will buy normal shells for 250 coins and 'perfect' ones for 500 coins

selling these bones also gives construction xp, i think it is worth it finding out exactly how much xp they give, i haven't gotten one of those boens yet so i don't know...

also why not place numbers on the map to show the location of each of the goblins/shops?

Firstly I will add and check the thing about the stillery.

Secondly, where did you hear you get exp and can you ask where you heard it from to show how much!

I am placing numbers of the NPC's but not all the shops and guys in the market as there is too many. But I will give a rough idea!

yeah, i agree with eggbrecht- put numbers on

Stated above
