Behind The Scenes - May

This Diary update seems interesting. I wonder if another skill cape will come out, or if it will affect the quest skill cape in anyway. The main thing I am really looking forward to is the Varrock update. Maybe they will add the furnace those workers talked about upstairs in the furnace building in Falador. :)

Sounds pretty cool! I'm very interested in seeing the newer Varrock - I never saw the "Old Falador" that everyone seems to be referencing, so I have nothing to compare it to. I'm glad they're updating the scorpions & spiders. As of now, they're not as...ah...menacing as they could be. It'll be nice to see what new features they have.

And that Lunar Isle quest sounds reeeeeeally neat...

hmm, updating varrock will be mellow for me....i mean, the image of me as a noob standing in "old" varrock (lol) trying to buy and sell evertything is a firm runescape memory im sure many people have. But hey, varrock is the tightest town IN runescape, so let there be a sexy new graphic scheme for it.

What do you guys think they will do? With fally they made it white, and with barbarian village they made it much more....erm...barbaric and dirty! I hope that they leave the level of mess in the south-western side of the town, but a new, really small dungeon with a few goblins in the basement in the house of one of those useless homes would be good for bringing attention there....as for the design? I hope it stays like, gray stone, just better looking!

share your ideas!!

Looks pretty good, the makeover might be ok, i wouldn't get my hopes up too high, falador looked like angel land after its makeover and to start i kinda hated it :P Lunar quest sounds good its a shame i can't do it lol, scorpians and spiders, who cares as if anyone will train on spiders and perhaps scorpions

Omg this is like lotro deeds >We've been thinking that it would be great to have a list of all the things you could do, and give some reward for doing them all. Naturally, this would be a huge project to release in one go, so starting the proceedings this month we will be bringing you… the Achievement Diary – Karamja Jungle Tasks.<

IM not kidding if u played the lotro beta you would know

I think the point is that Al Kharid is one of the first places newbies visit and right now the scorpions look like they came out of a Bob the Builder cartoon. :/ Okay, so maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but they are one of the silliest-looking things in F2P, and they need a makeover.

The only problem is that I have a pathological fear of scorpions. :o Oh well.

Let's hope the requirements for the upcoming quest are high. I'm up to any challenge. I've trained nothing but skills for the past year, and I want a quest that I can't do. The Legend's Quest was awesome with many requirements having to be 50+, but I began to realize, 50 isn't high at all. They need to start having more requirements at skills of levels 60+ for those who really care about all aspects of the game, not just combat. I'm hoping for a quest with like a level 70 Runecrafting requirement or something. That would have me training for awhile.

Karamja Diaries sounds really fun. I don't think it will affect the Quest Cape in any way, it's just going to be added under the Quest Tab, since there is nowhere else to put it. I just hope the text for it doesn't appear in red. I can't stand to see anything under my Quest List in red.
