Impetuous Impulses Guide - 100% Complete

Recommended Posts

Thanks! Well, I haven't heard from Neo Avatars, but I think it's about ready to go on. I will change the description and say that it is ready for Sal! This is quite big for me, as it is my first guide to go onto Sal's! >.< Hopefully it will be alright! :)

EDIT: Well, off to bed now. I'll see if there is a result in the morning! :)

Night all, unless you are in a different time zone to me, in which case, good day! :D

I've cropped the Ninja Impling Image, and the dimensions put in the table code. For a cropped version that isn't squished, use the following:

<img src="http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z100/Neo_Avatars/Corrections/Impetuous%20Impulses/ninja.gif" alt="Ninja Impling" width="34" height="40" />

(replace: <img src="http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/9105/ninja2wb9.gif" alt="Ninja Impling" width="34" height="39" />)

The field is just south of Dorics house, not up the hill near the tower. It's probably best to leave out the new fields until they're added to the World Map, and a proper image can be obtained.

To make your own Impling Jars, you will need 8 Cooked Anchovies, some Flowers, a vial, a Pestle and Mortar, a Seive (obtained from the Chemist near Rimmington) and a normal Butterfly Jar.

Seive should be Sieve.

This is too thick for use, so you will need to get a Seive from the Chemist in Rimmington. Just talk to him about Impling Jars, and ask him for a Seive. Use the Seive with the paste with a vial in your inventory, and you will get some Anchovy Oil.

Seive should be Sieve.

It can be recharged by bringing the same implings you used to get it to Elnock.

If you capitalize implings throughout the guide, make sure it is capitalized here too.

Note: Ocassionally your jar will break as you try to open it

Ocassionally should be Occasionally.

Nice guide. Hope it gets accepted. :P

Also, the repellant, butterfly net, and jar generators... aren't they supposed to be transparent? They have backgrounds..

besides that, with hawks corrections, I think your guide is 110% done.

Hmph...not too happy - hunter234564 provided those transparencies...they are PNG images, not GIF...I will redo them, along with the many Sieves... :(

The Dark Bow

The Dark Bow is a new addition to the game along with the Implings, and is required to fire the new Dragon Arrows that you get from the Dragon Implings. It requires level 60 Ranging to use, and its special attack, Descent of Darkness, does up to 30% more damage when using arrows other than Dragon, but when using Dragon Arrows you can hit up to 50% more damage. This attack will always hit, so is very useful.

However, the Dark Bow is not obtained from Implings. They are dropped by level 182 Dark Beasts on the path to the Light Temple, and can only be killed with a Slayer level of 90.

The picture is saved as JPG, Sal only accept .GIF or .PNG. I'll go ask get a picture. Also, on the second paragraph put this.

Edit:Sorry, small picture, you don't have to use it though.

Once the quality is lost by making it JPG, it can't be re-obtained by changing it to something such as PNG. :P

The World Map has been updated, so pictures of the new grain fields can be added:

- Near Doric's House

- Yannile

- Rimmington

I think they're the only new ones that were added, although I may be wrong. :/

Thanks, I thought they might have updated it along with the new Crandor. Any idea if Sal has seen this thread? :/

EDIT: Updated the maps. :P

Thank you for accepting this, Sal! The only guide I've ever had any part of is the Olaf's Quest guide (where I provided a pic or two!) so this means a lot to me.

But I cannot take all the credit, of course! Lots of people have helped with this guide, whether proofreading, providing and teaching me how to do transparencies or just supporting the cause!

I hope this guide does help, and that the drop lists are as up to date as possible.

Thanks! :xd:
