jimmyticm 0 Posted July 20, 2007 That's cause Halford's gay. No he literally is gay, you seen the way he touches the guitarists in photo shoots and in concert O.o. But his voice is kinda...screechy, I dunno, their guitars kick @$$ and that he admits hes gay... that too Rob Halford! Proving smiley faces can sometimes be really cool since 1789 ^_^...huh? I guess my "language" is too obscene for some people

Other bands play, Rammstein burns! Yeah, I love 'em. I defended them in one of my school debates. I was proving that it wasn't their fault that the events at Columbine happened. I ended up winning the debate. -.- I found this video. I thought it pwned. Edited July 20, 2007 by thebasswizard
Ruinz 0 Posted July 20, 2007 The kids who were he purpotraters had problems. For example, I think Eric was subscribed a an anti depressent which didnt work, which gave him homicidal and suicidal thoughts. In my opinion Columbine could've been stopped thousands of times. Whitey 4 Posted July 22, 2007 Metallica- As in, 80's Metallica. They were pure metal up your rear. They didn't use gimmicks. They dressed like guys who lived on the streets, and did nothing but rock on. Then Cliff Burton died and they got pissed. I think they got more pissed way before <_< but I know what you mean, the drink influences a lot of bands in the 80's and nowadays also.

Mr Brownstone 0 Posted July 22, 2007 Judas Priest is one of the only 80's metal bands I ever liked, other than sabbath, venom(they're 80's right?), and anthrax. Though since my friend won't stop bugging me I'm going to have to start listening to GnR, Metallica, and Iron Maiden(I don't mind them) Old metal >>> new metal Halford's voice annoys me. :D It's 'eeeeeehhhh'. Yeah, I sorta gree. That's cause Halford's gay. No he literally is gay, you seen the way he touches the guitarists in photo shoots and in concert O.o. But his voice is kinda...screechy, I dunno, their guitars kick @$$ If gays like Elton John can do rock, I don't see what's the big deal about a gay singing metal. BTW: Who here like Rammstein. There uber video. Feur Frei is awesome, Amerika is good too... otherwise, I don't like much of their songs. . I defended them in one of my school debates. I was proving that it wasn't their fault that the events at Columbine happened. I ended up winning the debate. :D It was DOOM's fault :D Weird how you post this band in a metal topic. What's wrong with industrial metal?
Nyarlathotep 0 Posted July 22, 2007 Weird how you post this band in a metal topic. What's wrong with industrial metal? Correction: They're industrial metal. For me to consider them metal, they would need to ditch all the synth crap and have more prominent guitars and drums. The most important instrument in defining Metal is the drums. All Metal has a very distinctive drumming style (even when not playing such Metal-only styles as double-bass or blastbeats) that means that Metal songs would still be Metal even if all of the guitars were to be removed from the mix. It is when the drums come in that you know that you are listening to a Metal band. I never hear blastbeats or double-basses in Rammstein songs.
Whitey 4 Posted July 23, 2007 I don't like Lamb of God. Too metalcore for my liking, but I heard the new album is more metal. Anyone like In Flames?

Whitey 4 Posted July 25, 2007 holy driver! machine head! ftw! thank christ(or phil demmel) for The Blackening. they needed that one bad. Yeah The Blackening is a epic album, so many good songs on it. My favourites are either Clenching the Fists of Dissent or Halo.
