I believe they are found in Canifis and in a lot of caves (maybe all of RuneScape) and the only drop I ever see them drop are bat bones.

bats are known to be easily damaged by ranged attacks. according to the manual "arrows are good at piercing their thin wings"

but anyway the part abt "ranged attacks easily down bats" is from experience. my fren can down bats faster with range rather than any form of useable attack.

I think some of the locations like the karamja volcano and the coal trucks are giant bats, I might be wrong. Anyways, when I had a slayer assignment of bats I always remember I would go to the area north of the digsite and west of Mortanyia.

If this is a small bat, then it doesn't drop the Giant Bat Wing Bone. :P

Which bat are we going to go with then? :P

Well most of the info for the Giant and regular bats are the same, so I recommend that we just make two topics. Only main difference is the combat.

Is this information accurate for only this submission only? If yes, I'll accept. :P

It doesn't drop giant bat wings (giant bats do), I am pretty certain that regular level 5 bats are not found in coal trucks. I am also 70% sure that the bats in the karamja volcano are giant bats, not regular ones. I can't say I have ever been to Keep Le Faye :). I think it should also say they are west of canifis too.

I don't think that "mammal" is a monster choice, animal is one, so that should probably be there instead.

It's Karamja Dungeon, not Karajama Volcano. and i doubt they are there. i thought only giant bats are there?

also i think bats are found in canifis. check it out yourself.

Ok, how would you know this if you free-play :P

I've been there many times and there are no bats in the town. Look at these Canifis guides and let me know if they mention any bats in them: Sal's Canifis guide, Zybez Canifis guide (this guide includes the bats found infront of the Slayer Tower, meaning the bats aren't in Canifis), and RuneHQ Canifis guide :/

On topic: Bats are also found infront of the Slayer Tower (it isn't in Canifis).

EDIT:There is also a bat at the Ectofunctus Temple

okay. being free to play doesn't mean i wasn't members last time.

and on the second note, it seems like canifis probably really doesn't have any bats.
