Getting Around Runescape - 100% Complete!

Recommended Posts

Well, I edited in all the things you guys submitted. We need just a few mini guides, Summoning, Grappling, and Agility to be exact. Then we need the random event picture, the ardougne lever picture, and I think thats all, COMPLETION! So if any of you guys can get to getting some mini-guides in, it would be great. I might do the agility one soon. Unless someone beats me to making the mini guide.

EDIT 2:

The first teleportation method we'll go over is using your modern magic spell book, and rules. There are 13 different teleportation spells. When you teleport using your spell book it will look something like this:

The first teleporting method we'll go over is using your spell book. There are 13 teleportation spells and the first one is the Lumbridge Home Port spell.

These two paragraphs are reeeeealy repetative. How's this?

The Lumbridge teleport looks different than other teleports. Here is what it looks like:

Lumbridge HOME teleport :aware:

And you might wanna go through the teleports again, Ape Atoll and Trollheim teles don't have the star :)

Add somewhere that Lunar and Ancients are p2p.

And like CTC said, do something to the titles of the different miniguides and sections to make them different

So if I'm correct, agility needs to be written, this needs to be proofread, and the pic of Molly needs to be taken.

Anything else?

Also, it needs to say where the summoning familiars teleport you to.

EDIT: Lot's of errors in this passage. Underlined are errors.

]There is a way to make you run longer. Agility! The higher your agility level, the longer and faster you can run. This way your energy won't reach 0% as fast as it normally would. There's a reason to go train agility, for tips on how to raise it, visit the Agility Guide.

You can also recharge it with by eating some Strange Fruit, which increases your energy by 30%. Strange fruit is acquired from the "Strange Fruit" random event. Sweets also increase your energy and are acquired from Treasure Trails. They heal 10% and are stackable in your inventory. Energy Potions and Super Energy Potions increase your run energy aswell. See the Random events Guide for more information.

This is how it should look...

You can also recharge your energy by eating a Strange Fruit, aquired from the Strange Plant random event. Purple Sweets, aquired from Treasure Trails, are stackable and heal 10% of your energy. Energy Potions, as well as Super Energy Potions, restore run energy based on your agility level.

Since no one was writing the grappling section I decided to write it....Add the image at the end.

EDIT: Trollheim and Ape Atoll teleports needs stars to denote members.

Grappling

Have you ever seen the James Bond movies where he'll escape an exploding building by grappling to the flag pole just outside the window? Well now you can do the same (minus the exploding building and the flag pole of course)! A grappling hook can be made by Smithing a mithril grapple and attaching some mithril bolts. Add a rope and voila! You have a grappling hook! It can be used to scale walls and pass over certain agility obstacles, while wielding a crossbow made of mithril or better. Here are all the shortcuts you can use with a grappling hook...(all shortcuts require a specific Agility, Ranging and Strength level as well as the hook and crossbow)

Karamja...requires levels: 53 Agility, 42 Ranging and 21 Strength.

Scale Yanille wall...requires levels: 39 Agility, 21 Ranging and 38 Strength.

Escape from the water obelisk island...requires levels: 36 Agility, 39 Ranging and 22 Strength.

Scale the Catherby cliff...requires levels: 32 Agility, 35 Ranging, 35 Strength and completion of The Fishing Contest.

Scale Falador wall...requires levels: 11 Agility, 19 Ranging and 37 Strength.

Cross the river Lum to Al Kharid...requires levels: 8 Agility, 37 Ranging and 19 Strength.

Thanks for the Grappling mini-guide Stevo! I really appriciate it because I can use the grappling system, but I am not familiar with it, so I thought it would be best if someone else wrote it. I appriciate all of the hard work you have done for this guide. It's all most finished and our efforts are truly paying off. I really appriciate everyones commitment toward this guide. It's almost done!

Should be "as well".

A reccomendation in armor to slow energy decrease rate is Mithril, due to it being light and durable. This helps free players, as well as members keep their running up for a longer time.

Should be "recommendation".

Teleportations are one of the most used ways to get around the entire world of RuneScape in the blink of an eye, here's a reason to get you magic up, move around RuneScape with the quickest way possible with teleportation! There are many places to teleport, and some runes are required, foundated on Law Runes which could cost around 300-435gp each, so stock up on those the next time you go on a shopping spree! One of the most basic teleports is, of course, The Lumbridge Home Teleport, although teleportation is often used quickly, this could be the only exception to that. Lumbridge Home Teleport is not usually used for a quick method of teleportation, well, because it's just plain old slow. It takes a long time to teleport and may be interupted by any form of combat, so don't use this to get out of a bad situation, it's just suicide! Secondly, it takes a long time to recharge, 30 minutes! Other teleports aren't like that because, they teleport much faster, and don't need time to recharge, they just need the necessary runes. Keep in mind teleporting can and will cost you money one way or another so make sure you have the money to support yourself.

Should be "interrupted".

Modern Magics

The first telportation method we will go over is teleporting through the modern teleport spell-book. This is the spell-book you start with, as soon as you have finished Tutorial Island. There are 13 different spells in this spell-book, and when teleporting, it will look something like this.

Should be "teleportation".

You have the option to turn accept aid on or off. If accept aid is off, and someone casts a teleother spell on you, nothing will happen to your character. If accept aid is turned on, and someone casts a teleother spell on you, a screen will pop up asking you if you wish to be teleported. If you click "no", nothing will happen. If you click "yes", you will apear in that area as if you teleported there yourself.

Should be "appear".

If you have played RuneScape long enough, you would know that RuneScape is never at peace. At any given time you may recieve what is called a "random event". Two specific random events that get you around to places are The Sandwich Lady and Molly's Sister. If you pick the wrong sandwich during the Sandwich Lady's event, she will knock you out cold and teleport you to a random area.

Should be "receive".

Canoeing is a good way to get to places you need to get to. It doesn't have very many options but it helps members very well. The only item needed for this proccess is, your woodcutting axe! To use a canoe is quite simple, approach one of the five locations on the River Lum and use you woodcutting axe to chop the canoe stand. Then, depending on your woodcutting level, you may make different types of canoes. Shape it, and then float it on the river. Right click option "Paddle" or just left click the canoe and choose your location from the following...

Should be "process".

Fixed up a few spelling mistakes. :aware:

Digsite Captian

Captain Errdo

Should be 'Captian'

Also I noticed a spelling mistake in one of the screenies it should be 'Karamja' not Karajma.

I didn't notice anything else.

Its a very good guide and I can see that lots of time and effort has been put into this.
