I choose mine because I am a hockey player and my favorite team is the Detroit Red Wings. Gowings was taken, so I choose Gowings0 instead. Gowings0 W0000000000T!!! GO RED WINGS!!! *ahem* Anyway...I chose mine on a different game because I tried about 10 different names and they were all taken! So I just thought of something stupid and slightly funny, and then added a couple numbers to make sure nobody took it. It also expresses my joy after finally finding a name no-one had taken. I actually don't really like my name. I made it four years, maybe a bit more, and I definitely grew out of it. I registered it because I actually LIKED the show. It's not special. If I hadn't gotten to such high levels and an astonishing amount of friends, I would have made a account with a much, much, better name. Like some of my side accounts. Use the first few letters of your surname and the first few letters of your hometown/country. Mine is the first 4 letters of my Surname and the first 3 letters of my hometown. I have a keen interest in genealogy/heraldry and surname origins - hence my Avatar - and (along with my Clan name - Clan Sefton) a clue to my Surname :-D.
