Is The Grand Exchange Universal?

I just overheard someone on world 112 telling someone else to go to world 132 to sell their unstrung bows on the Grand Exchange. Now, I honestly thought that the Grand Exchange was a universal selling point over ALL the worlds, that if you put something up for sale on world 112, someone in world 132 could buy it by accessing the Grand Exchange on that world. Am I wrong? Or is what you put up for sale on one world, only accessible to other players of the same world?

You're correct. Someone from World 1 could buy something someone put up on World 3. The only exception is that members only items will only appear on members only worlds.

It DOES sell on all worlds, no matter what. Maybe he meant go to the GE and sell... as in saying "selling junk pl0x n33bs 50gp each!", but it is universal.
