i think jagex has a prefectly good reason for blocking out each word

oh, REALLY? for months, Jagex censored "fletching." If you can come up with a reasonable explanation for that, then you are wiser than I am.

ok here it goes... "i enjoy fletching my girlfriend"

and also oooook . it censors the first three o's

Damn.

Not because they haven't got a good reason, it's just that there's been 4 quests I think where they've had to change it a while later because one of the quest npc's had used it.

Although I do find it weird you can say straight but not homosexual.

Crap shouldnt be censored i mean kids and poeple say it all the time.

And Spaz, whats wrong with the word Spaz? I mean they didn't censor idiot....

Jagex censors about everything!

I'm pretty sure spaz is a term to describe a mentally retarded person in England. :aware:

I think stfu is blocked now...

Not with a question mark or a comma next to it. :)

While gay is an insult, take a look in the dictionary and look up the meaning of gay.

From Dictionary.com

Gay-

1. having or showing a merry, lively mood: gay spirits; gay music.

See? Gay actually means having or showing merry, lively mood.

The word that bothers me most is crap.

I don't know how that can be used to offend people.

That because some idiot made up a unofficial definition accepted by society as gay meaning a offending term or a categorization of "your preference in people". It original meaning was similar to what you have said above HAPPY. Crap yes I agree no one uses crap to offend people most people use it to talk about an object but of courses this game allows people under 13 that shouldn't know such "vulgar" words such as crap =.=

Also, you guys should notice, in the quest "Wanted!" the mage says "hahahaha sucker!" when actually if a player tries to say "sucker" its censored.

It doesn't block out Eadger anymore.

I can remember when 'Con' used to be censored.

They were good times when lazy idiots were forced to type out the whole word 'Construction'.

Now it just blocks Con if there's something added before or on the end of it. Like 'Conman.'

Of course it doesn't block Construction :aware:
