Jethraw Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 [RANT] Logged in today, was talking in my usual clan chat with a couple of friends, when I got made an extremely racist comment thrown at me by a by-stander. Needless to say I took great offence and exploded - Resulting in a 3 hour argument and us both being kicked from the chat. About 2 hours ago I could not talk in the said cc but was saying messages out loud. Logged out and logged back in and found myself with a NINE day mute for being annoyed at the racism I was subject to. What did the other guy get? Absolutely NOTHING. GF Jagex. 1.4 marks 9 day mute 5 offences Had 1 successful appeal and removed .1 of a mark. Then I logged to go for dinner (I'm sure I logged out at yaks) Logged back in at falador white knights minus 37,000 bronze knives, Void Ranger Helm and my Void Gloves. So I thought I'd have a big old rant about it :) No I don't want sympathy. I'm done being annoyed about it. Btw I would also be freaked out if I would lose all that, probably throwing my computer out in pure rage. Maybe instead of exploding you go onto word or something and like write all your thoughts about it there? I think Jagex would've noticed if your report abuse had somebody throwing 'Omg go to hell you stupid <racist comment>' At you. Told myself I shouldn't get the munchies while inebriated and playing RS anymore. You would have thought I figured that out when doing DT blitzed and dying twice in 10 minutes. It never ceases to amaze me how cb level does not correlate with any sense of game play. I have seen lvl 115+ hitting monsters for no reason as the knight is dying, or there are like only a little hp left on both the knight and the last portal. Go figure. I remember being ripped on by a complete jerk at the crafting guild because he said anyone with 100+ cb has no life. I proceeded to yell at him, and ended up calling him a pot head. 24 hr mute for that. And as for the 112 hitting splatters. I was in a debate and then I went to check up on something and lost 40k iron knives, the Void helm and gloves, and an Archer's ring. I know with you maging you thought you logged. But what about you, Don? For some reason, I've been dying more lately, but that 5 minute grave works wonders. I've gotten back to the middle of the chaos tunnels after being owned by a bronze drag on the way to surok minigame. And that day I saw you in the slayer tower don, I looked away for a sec from those specters and I guess my pray ran out to 0, but ran back and got everything still. I used to joke with a friend of mine (who managed to get himself banned because he always got a little too mad at people if he thought they made fun of him :) ) about what we called "Drunken Runescaping". In other words, when I er . . get more than *cough* one *cough* wine cooler in me, I shouldn't try to do anything more complicated than fight the rats in Lumbridge Castle!! We all have our bad RS days, feels good to let it out, eh :) ? I'm fairly easy-going and let things just roll of my back usually. But, on those rare occasions I have let someone get to me (PMS'ing maybe :) ) I just log off if I feel sarcasm coming on (It's usually my sarcasm that'll get me in trouble before angry words will ) -Rayn.
