Your First Rs Friend

My first few friends were all of my cousins who playe and YES, they still play alot!

The first friend I had when I joined (at lvl3) was my real life friend who introducedme to the great game I play today, about 4 years ago.

We are still in contact in real life, but we don't hang out much in real life, simply because I hate all his friends. Being a deep, sensitive, emo kid, who is friends with a gangster (and naturally, he hangs out with them all) isn't the most common friendship, XD. He has temporarily quit RS, but he does it often (as do I)

 

But as for friend in RS? A lvl 72 who saw me begging (Yes, I begged when I first joined, for about only a week) and decided to show me the ropes.

I learned how to Fish and cook my food, fight monsters and sell items (yes, in varrock bank - before the great G.E came out.), woodcut and firemake (until I was high enough WC to make money off it) and with his help I got my account up quickly, to around lvl40. He was perhaps one of the most generous people I've met on runescape, after 4 years of playing, F2P and P2P. However, his name was complicated, and after my account was hacked (which was a nice lvl82 after the long, long time I spent on it)

And thus after coming back (I quit for a couple months after being hacked) I couldn't contact him again. I even started off in his clan before he urged me to create my own, in which he sent all of the lower leveled members to (both were small, nonranked clans)

 

I had a fair group of IRL friends who would all go PKing with me. I would fish and cook everyone food, another supplied us armor and weps, and the third made (and bought some) runes and arrows. Those were the days, I tell ya.

Too bad We can't just go back to the old RS every nowand then, before everything got so big. I still remember the rows of members,high levels, and richest sitting in varrok square, all goofing off. And next to the west bank, shouts of about ahundred players al;l buying and selling. It was so different from how it is now. Most players were nicer, too.

We were gonna charge people in the wildy lol. I was lvl 3, Sky was lvl 5, and Ray was level 20. Ahhh good times...... Ray comes on every one in awhile but sky got hacked unfortunately. =(

Something like that, they showed me to varrock bank! Back thent here were no banks near lumbridge :D Gave me a full set of bronze a steel mace, shortsword, and iron weapons. I later sold that steel mace for 10k to someone, I really wanted some armour from the stores

hell...ive been playing runescape for over 4 years now, ive 'quit' about a dozen times. so nope, i dont remember my first friend's name, he probly quit. but i do remember he tried to pose as a pmod (to get my pw, but failed).

Owlsrule98, he was really my first rs friend. We did allot together, I trusted him with any of my items I lent him rares santas/masks (this was before the trade limit and item lending)

Unfortunately he got hacked late 2007, plus the hacker got the account permanently banned. He quit not long after.

Four and a half years later, I seem to have forgotten his account's name. However, it was a friend of mine that had introduced me to this game on that fateful July day, way back in 2004. He was a great guy but has long since quit (may he rest in peace).

 

I enjoy reminiscing about the past >.<

Unstasha Pk was my first friend and a wickedly good pker (Before the bounty hunter updates etc.). He gave me advice early on, and then a Rune warhammer, rune 2h and rune scimmy because they were "junk" he collected from pking. I later found out he was the brother of my brother's friend. >.< He stopped playing shortly after pking was taken from the wildy.

I met him when we were both level 20, in Draynor Village, because we both had the exact same outfit on, and the exact same level. He was a great friend, because we never gave each other anything, nor asked for anything. We did a lot of stuff together, and at the time we were about the same levels, so we raced to a lot of things. Then I quit RuneScape a few times for a month or two, and he pulled ahead of me, and, although we have each other on our friends list still, and we're still both active, we don't talk much...
