I reckon 2-1 to Madrid, RVP and Ronaldo to score. As a United fan I say this with trepidation. If Vidic and our midfield are in top form, we have a chance.

With Man U's defence, it ain't gonna be a 0-0.

Sweet baby jesus that was stressful

Was probably a fair result, seeing as Van Persie should've scored either of the two chances (Crossbar + off the line clearance) but Madrid were dominant. Scared of them at Old Trafford.

Not fair at all, RM was dominating the whole game. If it wasn't for De Gea it would have been 3-1 easily. But RM got lucky too with Xabi's clearance.

RM never really broke past Man U's defence, though. Most of their shots were long-rangers

Was a pretty even match imo, both teams played well with RM being only slightly superior but it was expected considering they were playing home. Overall it was a really good and fun to watch football game, it was a good result for Man U and I consider both teams have a 50% chance of going through.

Was without a doubt the best defensive performance by United this season. And Vidic wasn't even on the pitch! Good news.

Just watched Gladbach draw 3-3 to Lazio. Crazy match. Gladbach had 3 penalties (of which they scored two), and Arango scored a beautiful free kick to boot.

Lazio were very effective going forward too.

Not sure what's going on with Swindon at the moment - but nobody does. This takeover saga is dragging on.

ps. as requested, I am here Goggie! :P

Good to see you back here :P

I can't work out what's happening to Brentford, they've been going through a really bad spell recently. At least we've got a win again now. The absolutely shocking performances by Premier league teams tonight cheered me up though.
